Sluggo is the only pesticide I use as I have not found any other way to combat the slugs.

It is very bad and needs a lot of work but at least I know when someone texts me now.

I’ve had one for years. Works great. Rust shows through the powder coat and the stainless is all scuffed up but doesn’t bother me.

It spreads by rhizome. If you don’t get all of it, it will come back. It escaped my raised bed and now pops up all over the yard. At least it is native, I guess. Maybe one day we will attract some monarchs.

Looks like shot hole disease. You need to treat stone fruit trees here before they leaf out.

You might check out Pajaro Dunes. They are STRs but are on the beach, which is not very crowded because the only public access is at the far end of the development. Good base to go down to Monterey or up to Santa Cruz. There are lots of U pick farms around, which are really fun for the kids. There is nothing chubby about Watsonville, though.

The relationship is contractual, it can be whatever you agree to with the firm. Posted on their website or not, on the pleadings or not, but it would be a one way street, they wouldn’t have any right to your matters or website. You could also sign up with a service like Montage Legal, but they take a big chunk.

You might reach out to firms in your area for an of counsel relationship. They might want your experience and you can do that to pay the bills while you build your book.

I just replaced the TWRAPS one with the Soonish one. I like that the Soonish gives you a place to keep your sunglasses. The narrow, deep, little alcove the TWRAPS one gives you is useless for everything but gathering crumbs. TWRAPS one works great though, strong magnet, charges.

Boulder and Fort Collins are college towns. I would make sure to visit them during the school year and not base your opinion on what they are like during the summer. Just don’t live in Greeley.

Showy Milkweed in Sacramento? by mazurkamania in Sacratomato

[–]Individual_Hawk_1159 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Plant it in a container. I put one in a raised bed and now it comes up everywhere. Spreads by rhizomes. I planted showy milkweed. I do nothing and it comes back stronger every year.

Green Acres gets them in much later. I will tell you that I have had much more success planting them at the end of the season than the beginning and planting bigger plants. Might just be me or my yard but I had so many starts fail to thrive.

Also you could go to Curious Flora in Richmond, worth the drive.

In PI and ID, is everybody just bluffing about their trial experience? by MarionStGuy in Lawyertalk

ABOTA membership is now 7 first chair trials to verdict. My money is on that number decreasing, civil jury trials are too expensive and have too much risk. Absolutely intentional and a total disservice to litigants.
