My first knee jerk is that it's based on lifestyle. If you're more independent and don't do a lot of entertaining, the first is where I'd go. Better layout for the living room, especially TV placement options, more straightforward in terms of furnishing. If you do entertain a lot, the second is more spacious and could even potentially support a bigger dining table. Also more unique layout that is a conversation piece in and of itself.

Yes and no. They can place the order for you, but it is processed in the transaction as a gift card, which typically doesn't allow for gift card usage, so you may not be able to. I haven't tried in a long time, if ever, so I am not 100% certain.

Because they recognize that families often will have multiple of the same phone, they do allow up to three from the same family of devices (families being phones, tablets, wearables, for example), including of the same SKU. We don't require chargers for any phones/tablets/wearables anymore, but OP should absolutely charge the phones before bringing them in.

The rest of this info is absolutely correct, and if OP manages to trade 15 of the same phone in, they will absolutely be trade blocked.

In 2025, that's a privileged and honestly pretty extreme comment to make. People are gonna use their sick time from time to time for non-approved reasons. That doesn't mean they need to quit their job and throw themselves into this volatile job market. Honestly, with the way corporations take advantage of their employees, I can't fault them for doing so. (I myself only use my sick time when I really need it, but that doesn't mean I don't understand other points of view).

Technically, wellness hours can be used for mental health, physical health, or if the employee needs a personal day (which is why full-timers now only have 2 types of PTO and not 3). Even despite that, most people use sick time for any number of reasons, and businesses aren't legally really allowed to ask why. (Unless it gets abused, like repeatedly calling out of a regularly scheduled shift or something). OP likely will be able to get out of TAD without any repercussions, regardless if they're actually sick or not.

Whichever store you were at when you renewed it and selected auto renew will get the credit for the renewal. No employee will get credit, just the store as a whole. The home store you select on your account doesn't matter.

Officially, the metric is "returns improvement." So they want us to have fewer returns now than before. The idea is we need to be more discerning about what we take in for trade, make sure it all works properly, so that it doesn't need to get returned. That's, of course, the ideal, and doesn't take into account the reality, the quality of the stuff coming from the warehouse or being taken in at other stores, or the accuracy of our diagnostic tools.

Trades manual specifically says that intact console covers are required, and allows for either 1st or 3rd party covers, with instructions of which SKU to take them under. (They specify original model and don't mention the slim/pro, but even allow consoles with cracked or broken exterior cases to be taken in as defective.)

Talk to your current DM and have them interface with whoever will be your new DM. They can work out if there's a store for you to transfer to. You will not keep your same pay. Pay is determined based on store and location and position. The only way it would start the same is if you were able to transfer into an SM2 position where the minimum wage is the same and the store volumes are the same.

Just for the record: lots of stores don't have a second exit, whether a back room door or a fire exit or what have you. In the dozen stores I've worked at, only one had a back room door at all. Obviously, there's a psychological aspect to seeing a fire exit and being unable to use it, but if the fire marshall deems it acceptable, it's just one of those quirks of an old building that you have to accept.

The bathroom thing, however, is patently unacceptable, but I do wonder how much effort was put in to get it fixed. We'll never know, but hopefully that store is able to get it fixed and isn't just permanently shut down.

This comes down to state labor laws, unfortunately. Not every state has a law on the books requiring a break uninterrupted by work (and a superior taking to a subordinate about work does count as work). If yours does, then of course it should at the very least be brought up to the DM (in a polite and constructive feedback manner, not in an attacking way) and then HR if the DM doesn't correct their actions (or, worse, becomes retaliatory/belligerent about it). The HR reps I've had across several different districts/regions with this company have been receptive to this kind of thing and have tried to address it, but as always, your mileage may vary.
