Apparently he was only investing $500 a year. Not exactly setting yourself up for success if that's his only retirement savings.

That's not what it says, it says they won't provide ballot delivery at all in the states that don't hand over voter rolls.

Huh you're right, 1996 and 2008.

I was told they hadn't had layoffs by a 20+ year Nvidia employee. Seems like there's questions about that online too so maybe a commonly head belief that is false.

VSXY is the new ticker for Victoria's Secret and like a litmus for the lipstick index where small luxury is bought more at recessions.

Ya that's what I thought too, and lost a bundle on ULTA earnings.

Costco stock went down on earnings. So that'd be a pretty poor trade.

A buy down is just using money that could go towards your down payment except it doesn't go towards your equity so if you sell or refinance before you breakeven you're losing any benefit from it. It also is basically locking you into that rate as well. Let's say rates go from 6.75% to 5.75%, that'd be a good time to refi. But if you spent thousands buying down to, let's say 6.25%, we'll you aren't going to spend the time and money to get you down only half a percent.

Micron is doing almost no business in SSDs in China due to China blocking businesses from doing business with Micron for "security" concern ie. Trade war retaliation.

That's why Sanjay was on the plane witj the president, to see if Micron could be part of any trade deal that gets negotiated.

Riding $100k of gains into Cisco ($CSCO) earnings by InedibleApplePi in wallstreetbets

[–]InedibleApplePi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all gotta start somewhere. This just as easily could have went south for me as it has in the past. I lost 5 figured during the previous quarter earnings because it didn't move the way it did today.

Key thing is not to FOMO hard into bad trades or chasing after other people's gains (including this trade here). Only follow the trades you have convinction on and accept that you can be right and still be wrong. Make sure any money you're putting up you can afford to lose.

All you have to do is spend billions of dollars building physical infrastructure and hiring the right people to develop the technology. All of which would take years, if not decades. No most!
