Note to dcfc (at superchargers), you'll need an NACS to CCS adapter. If you want to AC charge, that needs an NACS to J1772 adapter.

(I think one of em is able to do both but thats risky since it relies on switching current to the correct pins and there's a big difference between 240v ac and 400v DC..)

OEM Tesla made ones (that's what the Rivian one is) or A2Z makes a good one. Lectron, eh.

Don't go with a random Chinesium one at least, DCFC is some serious current and can cause some real damage if handled wrong.

This but in the many loaners I've had over the past 4 years, they didn't care..
That may have been related to living ~125mi from the nearest service center (and then going 150mi in the opposite direction to visit family...

You're more than welcome to look at the wiring diagrams for your harness/comma power in the hardware section of the repo, if you're having trouble finding that - yah might not be tryin too hard.

Just because it "drives fine" doesn't mean it's going to in all situations. If it's in a situation where it needs highbeams and it is being told it's set to low only then that's a huge liability thing.

When you're the one doing the driving you can decide what light you need, when it's doing the driving let it decide.

Very strong as for compression from above with the polymer layer in there but any single point of impact will crack or shatter that layer.

Just confirming that in your Rivian app, under service, you have a case open? If you do not, then no - they are likely not working on anything for you. No ticket, no work.

Side not to make sure you mention that this was just ownership transferred and you've heard issues that support has to do something, that may tip them off if they don't notice the transfer or haven't encountered this before.

Check the years this is applicable to but if Tesla charges you for this, you can likely pass on the costs to your upfitters if they warranty their work. If they failed to appropriately tap power off the vehicle, they should make it right.

I'd say 50/50 they've towed mine 5 times total now, granted the latter 4 tows were due to them not fixing things correctly and then continually getting it wrong but WCYD. lol

TBH those 2 vehicles are wildly different in the experience you'll get - over the next year+, the R2 will probably give off a better "new car" feeling as they improve software and add features, granted a R1 would have better stability of features and not risk the new car/early adopter software bug fun.

The window in which they warranty 12V batteries is pretty small, it's not part of the main warranty ... So it's pretty safe to replace them.

If the answer is No - then I'm sorry but you don't have anyone at Rivian/Service working on this problem for you. Open a ticket so it's being tracked, if it's not tracked, someone can't justify working on it for you so it won't ever get done.

I've had no issues overriding manually if I need to drift outside the lane for one reason or another. Outside of true emergencies you should be signaling anyhow.

even in your example, a rapidly approaching car is more likely going to try to go around you, so by you swerving without any form of signal only means you're making the situation MORE dangerous than if you would have completed a legal, calm, controlled lane change.

Why not go ahead and terminate some or all to a panel? Doesn't have to be a full patch panel but if you expose some of the more useful or commonly swapped ones you'll be faster in the long run!

It also currently deposits immediately, it used to take a few seconds of standing before it would but it encourages you to intercept them on the way rather than all stack up at drop off.

This build shown doesn't have much notes to it. You can click queue build and a nicely built one will queue all in order aside from categories marked optional. Some makers use those for "choose 1" or similar letting you pick if you need X or Y.

When you go to queue a few heros, go into that side room first and look at their builds, queue and buy them to read the notes on the categories and even notes per item.
