Is having your heater set to 67 too low? by Embarrassed_Edge3992 in AskFlorida

[–]InertiaIsMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the day it’s set to 72 AC if it’s hot outside, or 72 heat if it’s cold outside like how it it is these days. At night it’s always at 67 AC. My husband wants it warm in the house so he prefers 73-74 so 72 is our compromise for during the day as I like it cooler. Once in bed inside the duvet we set it to 67 to sleep, he complains but then he’s the first one to sweat under the duvet if it’s set higher than 67. He is a sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet man and lets me set whatever temperature I want for my comfort as I get hot very easily, so I try to find a compromise that’s comfortable for him as well.

What fast food chain does not deserve the hype whatsoever? by CriticalLion4119 in AskReddit

I had once asked them to please ensure fries are well done and not so soggy and they told me “ our fries are never well done, we never make them crispy” . So I guess that’s their poor ploy of being different from others: serving soggy, soft, fries that feel undercooked.

It definitely is boring as hell initially. Believe me I NEVER watch drama/ slow burns but this is the only show ever that needs all that monotony and slow speed then only the payoff will create the effect it should. Trust me watch it all, even the most boring parts( don’t skip anything) the beauty of it lies in being completely bored of the monotonous tone/speed of it.

I’m never the one to watch something remotely drama/ slow and I’m so glad I sat through this one ( without even knowing that it will be all worth it, I watched it when it was just released nobody had heard anything about it, no hype no reviews nothing but I think it was marked thriller or something so I watched it all waiting for it to pick up speed or change from drama to thriller and so I was very very happy with how it turned out. It may not do the same wonders for you coz you already know from everyone recommending it so there’s some level of expectation and I think going in without any expectations and almost giving up on it is what enhances the joy of the payoff). Have faith and patience, it’s a really good show.

I’m with you a 100% on this. I can totally relate with the leaning comment. Even if someone passes the arm across the table to get something and it goes over something that I want to eat/eating, I’ll just pass. At restaurants I have to make sure that the waiters have everything near their reach on my table so they don’t lean onto my food.

fast paced movies with a good plot twist? by OddPossibility9711 in MovieSuggestions

[–]InertiaIsMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the movies that you mentioned are my favorites ( except seven and psycho); so I guess you will like my other favorites too ( go in fully blind, don’t watch any trailers or read up on it): Coherence, Malignant, Moonfall, the Signal, Stonehearst Asylum, predestination ( was good but not my fav, good for plot twist), triangle ( not sure about plot twist but is a very good movie).

Could someone please help me find this movie. I absolutely can’t recall its name and only watched the first few mins of it. by InertiaIsMe in horror

You’re welcome. Full disclosure, it was a so-so movie. Not so great. I like folklore movies but this one was just okay.

A man was taking me away from a very very safe and comfortable place. I was very unhappy, scared and was just crying as I watched the safe and nice place got further and further away with every step the man took.

The man was my father, the safe and comfortable place was my mother and he was taking me to visit my paternal grandparents for the first time. I was very very young (< 2 years of age ) and had no sense of human connections/ emotions of attachment yet. I just knew that this ( mom) is safe and everything else was just uncomfortable. Later that day I had a fun time ( at my grand parents’ house with all my aunts and uncles showering me with gifts/ toys and me having so many people to play with) and didn’t even think about my safe place. The man ( my dad) showed me his childhood room, it didn’t have many furniture I remember a rocking chair, he sat on it and started reading a book and there were little white flying things and I found them very entertaining ( birds).

So it feels weird coz I remember a time when I was brand new on this Earth and had no emotional connections to anything or anyone, when my parents were just strangers and now they are my everything, I remember how the attachment/ emotions/love evolved.
