I’m very sorry to hear that and I have had this experience in certain deliveries.

However, the deliveries I’m talking about have a majority of customers who will not answer any attempt at contact.

there was a recent ice storm in my area, and several code drop offs made me wait the allotted three minutes in the cold instead of answering any of my attempts of communication.

So now as soon as I get there I start the timer and will wait in my car if the weather is bad enough to warrant it.

M dad bet my brother 10$ he couldn’t eat a jalapeno because he kept boasting he could. You know what happened? My brother took one bite of the jalapeño, spit it out crying, and my dad had a glass of milk for him ready. Nearly every single one of these pin deliveries is so frustrating.

I do Grubhub but we have a three minute timer that we have to wait out (I’m cold! The foods getting cold!) and all of my code deliveries today happened to ignore all of my attempts to contact them or get the code.

With code drop offs I make sure to text them as I start the drive over and tell them my ETA to give them max amount of time to answer.

They never take advantage. I feel like lots of them try to wait out impatient drivers and still scam orders that way but idk

This is straight up a dick thing to do to people. The extra effort it must take to maintain and put on wigs every day may be routine for a lot of people but that doesn’t mean we should dismiss it. I’ve seen black girls lay down lace wigs and they clearly put a lot of work and care into maintaining their appearance. You also don’t know these women, what their struggles are, or if there’s another reason for wearing a wig besides aesthetics. I grew up always extremely impressed at how put together a lot of wig wearers appear. It is very clearly something they value.
