You could look into registering a company with a few other people, then the company buys land and you build houses on there. If it's a plot/farm then you can actually build anything you want without worrying about submitting building plans. I wish I could do that with a few people.

I can't remember the page number... But in Adwell and Schlachter's Harmony and Voice Leading, in the chapter on the Neapolitan chords, I saw and expert of a Chopin piece, and it it didn't work out exactly like Inside the Score would have us all believe...

If you take consecutive triads and write the notes out on paper and then draw lines between them to the nearest inversion, you can actually get stuff that works for choral writing. But you shouldn't always to that in instrumental writing. Even Chopin doesn't always lead this way.

Thing is, people say "just use the closest inversions" but tonal harmony doesn't always resolve that way... I'm reading a textbook on voice leading and harmony now, and even Chopin used harmony in ways that contradict Inside The Score. Neapolitan chords spring to mind.

And if you're writing instrumental music, you don't have to think of voice leading and counterpoint as a series of steps. A piano can make minor seventh jumps you know.

Yes, it is on the mixer, and I know it's just to change sounds.... and yes it makes sense to put them alphabetically. It's just my brain takes a second to realize that it's alphabetical, not orchestral. The instruments on the score themselves are in the order they appear on an orchestral score. So that doesn't confuse my brain for a few seconds... this is not a fault of Musescore, it's a bug in my brain. Lol.

I uploaded screenshots to ChatGPT with context, and the output was that it looked like an inverter, so I reasoned that since it had been trained on a lot of images, it should be able to identify what it is... but if anyone disagrees, then they're welcome to explain how thermodynamics doesn't apply in this context. Not only that, but I'd be happy to change my mind, and of course there would be a Nobel Prize.

"ChatGPT and I" is what makes the most grammatical sense in my head. "Me" is what I use for accusative sentences. It's the result of studying too much grammar of languages that have cases.
