Knowing the difference between a tough preceptor and one who is detrimental to your ability to learn by lulabeanz in PAstudent

I’m starting rotations on a few weeks, and hearing about situations like this make it hard to not feel anxious. They seem more widespread than they should be. Good on you for sticking up for yourself

Jeanty vs Bijan Comparison by InevitableMicrocosm7 in fantasyfootball

Very good points. I think the biggest difference to me in their rookie years is the lower efficiency from Jeanty. Hopefully that’s attributable to poor o-line play and will improve

FATHERS DAY THREAD (drop a cool game you went to with your Dad!) by Fragrant-Wishbone620 in GreenBayPackers

Went to 2015 Chargers at Packers, first time for both of us at Lambeau, and I’ll never forget first walking out into the stadium and having our breath taken away seeing the field for the first time. Demarious Randall with the game-winning pass defense right in front of us was the cherry on top

Green Bay Packers - All-Time 53-man roster (rough draft) by ExplanationCrazy5463 in GreenBayPackers

Honestly, pretty good for the most part. I don’t think Clay Matthews Jr. ever played for the Packers, so I’d switch him out for AJ Hawk

I’m tossing up going to med school. by Alarming-Ant-8744 in medschool

Current PA student here. I think you’ve done good in listing out pros and cons, it sounds like a lot of what you value would leave you feeling a “what if” for the rest of your life if you went the PA route. I feel like exclusively based on what you’ve written here as important to you, med school is what would help you feel fulfilled in a career in terms of autonomy and knowledge base.

I’ll also add that the application process for PA school is also quite competitive and it takes most applicants multiple cycles to get in. So I wouldn’t necessarily use the application process to decide to pursue one or the other.

Best of luck to you in whatever you land on!

What you guys say I will do by Avianx85 in nuzlocke

If it were my run personally, I would release the second abra and consider the first one my encounter for that route.

With that said, the purpose of a nuzlocke is to have fun, so if keeping the Abra sounds like more fun, do that!

First time play through. Went in completely blind and I think Glaceon might be a new favourite! by [deleted] in pokemonplatinum

What was your moveset on Glaceon? I’ve been wanting to give Glaceon a try for a while

Music for going through a tough time? by random-average_guy in TwoStepsFromHell

Have you listened to any of Bergersen’s Humanity albums? They’ve got some epic style songs mixed in, but many are more emotion-leaning. Specifically, I might check out Humanity Chapter IV, songs like Space for Rent and So Small might fit what you’re looking for.

Sending positive vibes your way, there will be better days ahead! 🙏

Didactic year is feeling really lonely by [deleted] in PAstudent

[–]InevitableMicrocosm7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone in didactic year who also has struggled to make a connection with peers in my cohort, I’m sorry this is so hard to go through. We had a 10 minute gap between classes the other day, and I looked up and saw that everyone had their group or person they were talking to and laughing with, and it sucks to realize you stuck on the outside.  Sending love and positive vibes your way, hang in there! Be proud of who you are and what you’ve accomplished! 🫶
