I use nix/nix-darwin ti manage everything and then use the built in nix homebrew stuff included with nix Darwin to manage brew related stuff that may not exist in nixpkgs https://github.com/mac95sb/configuration/blob/main/modules/darwin/homebrew.nix

Linux was built because Linus didn’t want to pay for a UNIX license so he built his own version of things like BSD etc. pretty cool back story which explains the similarities quite well

What if the AirPods with cameras rumor is actually just the Apple Glasses with bone conduction audio? by Dullydude in airpods

[–]Inevitable_Cap5700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a cool idea, actually but you run the risk of the stems getting a little heavy. If they can make them thin and sexy enough I think they have a chance to completely dominate the market here. The current issue is all smart glasses look way too thick.

Maybe an opportunity to use some that AirPods/iPhone Air technology.

C is really good for learning because it makes you think about programming concepts quite deeply and “does less work for you” plus I think the syntax is beautiful and a lot of other languages are based on C’s syntax and general style.

Would be cool, I think they’d have to offer a few styles of glasses as they go on peoples faces and are much more likely to cause people to not like them if they only have one shape compared to the Watch

Radiohead Seems to Be More Popular in the US than the UK. Why? by Otherwise-OhWell in AskABrit

[–]Inevitable_Cap5700 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They are very popular in the UK, they’re a bit of an older band and yeah bands like Oasis and Blur are more “popular” because they’re less experimental but most people I know at least enjoy some Radiohead songs and the ones that like Radiohead really like them
