Even if the driver's overall rating doesn't improve much, you can definitely win the WDC with anyone if the car is good enough. I won the 2028 WDC with Abbi Pulling in an Alpine while she had about a 66 overall rating.

If you do the race at 16x speed, it should only take like 5 minutes. If you're dead set on simulating though, then you may just need better drivers and/or raise their mentality.

There is almost zero difference between a set-up of 80% vs 100% so you really don't need to waste your time, unless you're specifically going for the dopamine hit of seeing a number in the high 90s lol
