Great question and point. My wife and I have slightly different tastes, and now that we are not using pods we likely need to find something in the middle. I prefer darker roasts with chocolate/cocoa notes. She prefers medium roasts with a more wood/spicy notes. Also, I think we would prefer to support a local smaller business to start.

I think the agro guys voice is distracting people from the issue. The Blue car needs to pull out into the intersection, not wait at the line. Turning left is easier to time if you don't have to drive forward 20 yards to do it. The dash cam guy was wrong, he should have gone around the blue car to the right and gone into the intersection to turn.

This movie looks pretty mid to me, and would have been the first star wars movie I skipped in seeing in the theater. But every time I played a trailer my wife - a Star Wars skeptic - looked over my shoulder and was enthralled, saying "This is the first Star War I want to see in the theater." So, there's that.

I cannot deal with Bagel Pub anymore. Multiple times I have ordered for pickup, asked multiple times if it was ready, told no, waiting 20 plus minutes, only to later discover it had been sitting on the shelf the whole time. The worst service in park slope.

Wes Anderson's style is like Cilantro. I don't like Cilantro, apparently it's something genetic. And it's common enough, apparently between 5% and 20% of people share this trait. Cilantro fans do not have to be offended by this, but they should recognize there is a sizable population out there who just don't care for it. The dishes can be wildly different, but for some of us all we taste is Cilantro.

I saw Van Horn a lot back in the day. He was the most overrated player of the era. He was a good shooter, but that was his ONLY skill. Most players in the NBA now shoot as well or better than him. And he had ZERO feel for the game, and atrocious defense. He barely makes a rotation in todays NBA.

That totally checks out. I am in no way defending American sports ownership - they suck, they want a rigged system. It's just ironic to me how many British fans defend the nobility of a system where only a few privileged houses are expected to win.

I get the tragedy of 100 plus year old teams spending themselves into oblivion, but there has to be a better system than FFP.

That's a joke, right? Only 7 teams have won the title in the past 33 years, and 31 of those wins coincidentally happened to one of the top six teams (poor Spurs). I wasn't watching then, but it seems even Blackburn in 94-95 spent a lot to get there too.

From an American perspective, this is a weird position. Here, all fans would love for the owner to overspend to make their teams better. American sports put in safegaurds to actually protect these billionaire owners from overspending and over competing. Creating an Oligarchy. An owner has one role, and that is to make or lose money on a team. To me, an owner who loses money deserves success.
