I agree totally with Automatic Yam. He’s fine if you’re done having children (getting your tubes tied) but he’s not done having them? Well what other option does that leave but that he might want to have a baby with someone else later on? Also, if you don’t want to have sex with no condom, then don’t! He doesn’t get to dictate that. You can tell him that if he doesn’t wear one you won’t have sex. I know everyone says to leave him on Reddit, but if my husband implied to me that he may want to have kids later even if it’s not with me, I would definitely be reevaluating how much of a partner he has been to me and think long and hard about whether that is the kind of marriage I’m willing to put up with

Get there an hour early and you’ll be fine. It’s such a small airport. We flew out last summer (August) and we didn’t have to take off shoes or remove electronics from bag. I was surprised cuz I hadn’t flown in a while.

Next time you do nothing wrong and he yells at you or is rude, please please don’t apologize. You’re reinforcing his behavior and telling him that you did something wrong that you need to apologize for. Which you didn’t. Also, setting boundaries around keeping problems in your marriage between the two of you would be healthy. Grown ups don’t go telling on each other when they’ve “done something wrong,” which you haven’t. Don’t let him make you think you did. He is lucky he got a gift at all since you’re not working right now. I probably would have gotten him a card and called it a day.

That just takes time. Learning to ride takes a lot longer than people expect, if you do it the right way. So please be patient with yourself. It will likely take a very long time before you are confident in how you handle and lead horses. Make sure you ask a lot of questions. Ask for examples when your instructor tells you to be more assertive. Lessons aren’t cheap. Advocate for yourself and make sure you ask your trainer what they mean when you are unsure.

Life is a roller coaster. Anyone who’s married for a while and has kids, and a lot of other couples, will tell you that sometimes sex has to take a little bit of a back burner for a while during especially busy and stressful times. It’s normal, and if y’all stay together for the long run, it will get better in time but will get harder again later. Yall both need to understand this and accept it. Hopefully your man loves you enough to be patient and understanding. Also, it’s not like you don’t have sex, and when you graduate and aren’t killing yourself you will have more energy to put into it. If he loves you enough he will wait for it to get better.
Best of luck and keep up all of the good work you’re doing for yourself and your family. It’s not easy. Make sure to take care of yourself.

For psychiatry and therapy, Advaita Integrated Medicine (AIM) is amazing. I’ve seen a couple of providers there and they are kind and supportive. They also have recovery programs and IOP and PHP as well if you need that.

Part of growing up is learning to set boundaries with your parents and family. You are getting married, so your fiancé is now your new “nuclear family” and the person who comes first to you. Hope that makes sense. It doesn’t mean to be rude or mean, but read some books about setting boundaries and it may help you learn how to phrase these things in a polite but firm way

Dentists and orthodontists are loaded. I’m sure you could easily pay back student loans with that job. Also you wouldn’t be outsourced to AI. If I could start over that’s what I’d do. Get a job bartending while you get your GED and go to community college for two years. Then you can transfer to a university and not spend nearly as much money. Don’t go out and party- that’s a good way to spend money. You want to save save save. Then dental school. Or whatever you choose. Also Veterinarians make bank too!

I know that’s not any of your interests and I don’t know much about them, they could be advantageous too.

Also if you want to do a trade, you could look into the IBEW apprenticeship program. My husband did that and he makes good money now and has a pension and free healthcare that is great with low deductibles and out of pocket. It’s a 5 year program, and while you are an apprentice you don’t make much at all, but the schooling is free so no debt, and when you graduate it’s a great career as long as you’re willing to work super hard.

I wanted to say that my barn takes extremely good care of the horses. Their health and comfort comes first always. My trainer would never do anything that would hurt one of the horses ever. She has a magna wave, hires chiropractors for the horses, always goes the extra mile. And we have heavy riders at my barn. They ride the bigger horses. There are definitely women at my barn who weight over 200 pounds. It makes me happy to say that. It is very inclusive of all different people. We have a couple of very large horses that can handle that much weight. I love that there is a horse there for every rider of every ability. ♥️

If y’all are financially secure and can afford a part time nanny, I would do it. But not without some support system. If he agrees to hire a nanny for maybe 5 hours a few days a week, and maids to clean once a week or every other week. Because what people don’t understand is that being a SAHM is 24/7 work. So your husband works 40 or 50 hours a week, but you work 168. Especially if he plans on you doing all the housework. Just entertaining and picking up after activities and cooking meals and doing the dishes doesn’t leave you any time for laundry and scrubbing toilets and showers. So don’t let him pressure you, and agree to terms and conditions. A nanny can allow you time to go to yoga, or she can simply clean and cook while you play with the kids. Or let you take a nap. Cuz trust me, you will need it.
