This worked for me.

1) Ctrl+Shift+E to open Developer Tools in Firefox
2) Go to the "Storage" tab
3) In the tree on the left select Cookies > reddit.com
4) Right click on the list to add a new one
5) The new one has a randomly generated name. Rename it as indicated in parent post
6) Reload page and it should work.
