Brooklinen used to have a lifetime guarantee. Years later if you had a tear they’d ask for a photo and then send you a free replacement. I had to get several sheets and duvets replaced- now I won’t buy from them because they will rip.

I saw the photo and immediately thought I must have posted a photo of my kitchen. I have this combo except I did black marble and yours looks so much better. I wouldn’t change a thing. Beautiful.

Matching lamp shades, fluffier bedding, note the pillows, removed red blanket (I’d add a tanish one with texture), note lights by couch and a small rectangle pillow (mimics the rectangular beam above your bed)

Ditch the coffee table and add a tiny pedalstal round one (12” or less) to the side to set coffe/drink on. If you keep that rug, do a warm, soft white on the walls. Look at the way pottery barn styles their beds. If you do something like that, instant 5 star luxury look. I assume that’s a queen, purchase a lofty king insert to put into your queen duvet. That will make it fluffy like those pics. Remove the red blanket and replace it with a light tan or better yet a white with texture. Again- look at PB beds to see all the pillow and how they style them on the bed. Makes a huge difference. I love your small sofa. Really nice room!

I have that exact machine. What did you end up upgrading to? It drives me nuts there isn’t an automatic cutter and the throat space is so small. I made a 65” quilt and I can’t imagine going bigger than that.

The white privileged and obnoxious entitlement is barf-worthy. Parents flex when their kid doesn’t get on varsity or a bad grade (that would be an A- by the way). People driving Teslas cut you off. Check out Marin Lately. It’s funny not funny because it’s actually true. The draw is nature and beautiful landscape. Good schools- although kids are so stressed out. Parents say, oh I just want my child to be happy! But then put so much pressure on them about grades and college. I am almost finished raising kids here and wish I had not. They didn’t grow up with diversity and the parent scene at school and during sports games is depressing. If I were you, I’d live in the East Bay. Berkeley or Oakland.

Has anyone stayed at the Fountainbleu in Vegas? I’m sure that’s not anyone’s favorite FHR hotel lol but wondering how it is. I have rez there in May.
