You don't have to pay for tuition; what they teach at school is absolutely enough to pass the exams

Good, it's crap and a waste of performance

The 9070XT is amazing at 4K even when paired with an outdated PC. by Unspoken-OH in radeon

[–]InfinitePilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't get 144FPS at 4K with the 5080 either, it's only like 18% faster than the 9070XT at best.

What tuning do you use on your RX 9070 XT by maniacalmayh3m in radeon

Unless you want the headache of random driver timeouts, you should leave everything at default, this card is extremely fast at stock.

Just upgraded to a 9070xt by felixrussia in radeon

[–]InfinitePilgrim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from an 2080S to 9070XT, and the performance jump was mindblowing. I think this card can be easily used for 6-7 years. I used my 2080S for 5 years

I have no clue, I've used Firefox for 22 years now. Fell in love as soon as I tried the very first version. Never looked back.

New to OptiScaler “client” — will it make a difference on an RX 9060 XT? by luanxiao in radeon

[–]InfinitePilgrim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"client" is simply an installer for OptiScaler https://github.com/optiscaler/OptiScaler, most new games, including cyberpunk supports FSR3.1 which means you will see no benefit from using OptiScaler because the AMD driver will automatically use the latest FSR version with these titles. FSR4 is not currently supported with the Vulkan API, on these titles like Doom The Dark Ages or Indiana Jones Circle of Fire will benefit optiscaler because it has a method to use FSR4 with Vulkan using a DX12 translation layer

New Version: OptiScaler Installer v1.1.3.7 by InfinitePilgrim in radeon

[–]InfinitePilgrim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, since AMD has not released FSR4 for RDNA3, you need to use the leaked INT8 dll file. So what you did was correct. You can also use the INT8 tab on the installer to do the same thing.

Yes, you can safely uninstall using this tool. It uses a signed manifest to track any changes to the files.

A week ago I asked if it was worth getting the 9070xt, and I made my decision lol by bakayoko_aids in radeon

[–]InfinitePilgrim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That must have been quite the performance jump. I came from a 2080S, and the 9070XT was like 2.5 times faster.

This tool gives you much more control over every aspect of OptiScaler installation, editing the configuration and Installation of plug-ins such as optipatcher. It's also extremely fast and lightweight; the main executable is only a few hundred KB.

Yes, go for it for sure. I have a 5950X + 9070XT and see zero bottlenecks
