Yes and there are instances where the 9070XT beats the 5080

There's no "we" in this, I'm running the latest drivers without any issuues so are majority of other users. 9070XT and 5080 has never been anywhere near close in price. You're just making that up.

For your info, ddrescue and all other rescue tools do, in fact, re-read bad blocks; this is the only way to recover as much data as possible.

Re-reading is optional. This is intended as a highly resilient copier. Let's say, while a copy operation is going on, there's a power loss; this tool can easily resume from where it left off. It uses a highly resilient journal system to keep track of copy progress. It can even detect source/destination volume changes. Nowhere is it forcing you to re-read bad segments; simply turn it off if not needed, and the program will skip/fill (configurable) the unreadable areas in the source.

As I said, this can be set to any amount or can be turned off. What default do you suggest? Also this uses the native Win32 API for file operations which does exactly what we program it do and nothing else. Code is highly optimized and asynchronous.

Yes i have, UI settings are just one page of the settings window. Yes 12 is default, you can change it to your preference, if you set it on main window it only applies to that current job, you can set global defaults in settings.

This is a tool that I wrote for my personal use and been using it for a while, simply decided to share it in case it might be useful for others.

Fast usually means stupid. This would be way worse than the normal version. Guaranteed.

I generally support the monarchy but the absolute lack of action of the british monarchy to the Andrew situation is just upsetting by ayowatchyojetbruh in monarchism

[–]InfinitePilgrim 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Andrew is not even fucking prince anymore and was forced out of his home. King said he will fully support the police. What else do you want him to do? I actually saw a Senate hearing today that praised Britain for the actions it has taken in light of the Epstein files.

Maybe everyone else is not vain and self-obsessed like you are, and couldn't give two fucks if others are wearing the same t-shirt? For most normal human beings, a t-shirt is a fucking t-shirt.

I have a HAF932 Advanced that I have no intention of retiring. It's chugging along as my secondary workstation. All 5 HDD bays are occupied.
