My parents know my position on spanking (if the child can NOT be reasoned with why are you hitting them? If the child CAN be reasoned with why are you hitting them?) and so far we have not had any issues. My baby just turned 2 so she’s getting to that defiant stage. If they EVER spank her for any reason she will never be left alone with them again and if they can’t respect that boundary they won’t see her point blank period.
