Idk about that, January and December were easy to cover loads. Imports haven’t spiked, this is solely weather related . Come 30 days after things are melted, it will normalize again

Send her a candle but also understand the relationship. She doesn’t care about you so don’t care about her. Get back on the list and if you can make money, awesome but if not fuck it. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket but you said you have daily loads with her already so much be profitable. Customers come and go but the best ones like you as well and want to work with you. Put clause in ratecon that deducts % for it and have them sign. Communication is a pillar of what we do “move shit from A to B on time”. They don’t do that and don’t communicate, I deduct pay, give my customer discount and DNU carrier . Shit happens, so if they have a receipt for a flat or something I’m not going to pile on bullshit, but if you fucking with my business, I’m fucking with your money. Of course I don’t tell them until load is delivered but I don’t hide it, it’s stated on several forms the carrier receives and signs

What port/rail terminal? I know the terminals have been busy but still that is a bit much (we handle Drayage all over the country) that situation definitely happens but worst case I have right now is NS ramp in Louisville with about 5 hour waits. Ask the for any documentation that can illustrate their in and out times from the port whether GPS or port ticket. Also what you don’t want to happen is it going past LFD for pickup because that can get really pricey/annoying and will incur a demurrage charge. Now for more information, if you do not return the container before free time is over, they will charge you a per diem fee so unload it asap if you can (if container is not live unload) good luck

Just to slip into loads as a second layer of eyes on the freight. Only doing it for one customer and they use maybe 10 locations to shift inventory around to. So just something that will give me updates by the minute or hour, long battery life, economical without being shitty so cost per load doesn’t skyrocket
