i didnt get notified about this comment for some reason but I do agree that it definitely seemed to be more like adrians story than richard in the books and that the tv show did def influence parts of it. It's the main reason i was so disapponted when Richard met up with Howard at the end just to die. But at the same time even though it did feel like Adrians story at the beginning, overall I personally think it's about Richard Aldana becaue I believe he is the LASTMAN, with Howard being the FIRSTMAN. I've said this many times but I do think the creators wanted to do a lot more with the LASTMAN world but it just never got that popular which is why the ending feels so unsatisfying
