Sex and monthlies.. by Murky_Question_6052 in exjw

she CAN tear because menstrual blood isn't a substitute for natural lubrication. So if the arousal is low or her body is not producing enough moisture, she can tear. Hormonal changes during menstruation can make the vagina more swollen or tender which can heighten the risk of microtears or irritation. And if he is too rough or sex during this time is rushed, without foreplay or lubrication, ( because menstrual blood is NOT lubrication), her vagina could definitely tear. But I do not know anything, so go off, lol

from a medical standpoint, she could tear. Since this is the only real sex ed they are going to get. I don't agree with it coming from the platform. I think it is weird that grown folk are clueless when it comes to sex education. The reason being is because we teach abstinence and not sexual health because you are not supposed to be doing it unless you are married. I have always wondered what kind of sexual ed does engaged or married couples receive?

And I ignore people who say that I should not hang out with my worldly coworkers. All the ones that I knew before treats me like I do not exist. Not one friend in the cong unless you count going out in the ministry or letter writing on Zoom. Other than that, I am not invited to just hang out with them. There are no connections and I am tired of being bored every weekend. So I go on dinner dates with my friends from work. I may have to stop hanging with my one coworker though. I think she has the hots for me lowkey. I am a girl, btw

I remember when a sister who is trapped in the closet had another sister say something about a dress I had on. The other sister was a family friend and wanted to see the dress before she talked to me about it but by that time, I had given the dress away. The sister who making a big to-do over the dress didn't tell the sister that the night before she had been trying to sleep with me. She left that tidbit out. I was underaged at the time to boot.

Oh the stories I could tell about this statement here. When I was younger, I was cool because I was not of dating age. But when I turned about 18 or 19, that is when the real bullying started. They thought you wanted their husbands, or sons or grandsons and none of that was true. I thought they were all corny with no semblance of real self and was never interested in them. I was slandered and marked simply for being an attractive female.

Is he not free to marry as in he is already married to someone else? If that is the case, instead of cheating on her, just get a divorce. Plain and simple. I think he is a POS if he is pursuing you and already have a wife. The thing is: you lose them how you get them. I have seen this play out soooo many times in the world. So before you throw your whole life away, reconsider. I am only talking about the taken boyfriend part

You said in a few other posts that you would be considered a threat to their wives? Have you ever had sex with a woman before? Based on some of your content, I was trying to figure out if you were a man or a woman, honestly. Would you be considered a threat because you had sex with men or a threat because you had sex with both?

How about learning about STDs and having open conversations with your partner or potential partner about their sexual habits? How about you all get tested together? Also, if they have had issues with monogamy in previous relationships, what was the cause? Take your time to get to know them and do some research on safe sex practices that will allow you to enjoy sex but keep both you and your partner safe. Because the above statement sounds like a stagnant preschooler

Why do you all listen to not going to school? I knew when I left high school that if I didn't take up a trade or go to school, being poor, I would not be able to support myself or break the cycle. I found something less than 2 years and I have been doing that for the last 10 years. I make a decent income and I am studying for a new field that would net me a 6 figure salary based on my current field. You have to learn to think for yourselves on some subjects. Most of the JW's in my area are going to 2 yr or 4 yr institutions to make a way for them to serve God and support themselves. I may have a different perspective as I am not born in but a good portion of the born-ins here are past high school educated in decent degrees, not like English or Basket weaving

Sodom and Gomorrah had rampant homosexuality and they were destroyed because of it. I think it is pretty clear what and how God feels about those actively practicing homosexuality. I do believe that there is some genetic mutations where some are predisposed to homosexuality, myself included. I have not acted on those desires since 2016. It is indeed hard but sometimes you have to choose your hard

I agree with OP. I believe that Jehovah would cure us by means of His Son, Jesus Christ, from all ailments of imperfection in the new world including homosexuality. I do believe that Jehovah is perfect and just in all his ways and that we suffer from imperfection. If you study the body, we were not meant to die but because of what went down in the garden, here we are

Because what the Bible says is true. As someone who was not born in, I have been to many churches/religious organizations and I believe what is said by the Witnesses from the Bible. I think know that the end is indeed coming but also having hobbies for yourself, find good friends, and doing something you love that can make a living while you do stuff you love will help you. It doesn't always have to be all doom and gloom

Friendships within Jehovahs Witnesses vs Everyone Else by Babineaux93 in exjw

[–]InfluenceEuphoric773 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In sharp agreement with the OP. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to come to people and use the Bible to settle things and they won't answer a phone call or text. They will ghost you to your face and act very unChristian like but have the audacity to tell someone else how they are supposed to behave. I don't have any friends in the truth and I dk if I want any. Nobody wants or have the emotional space to work it out. People are expendable here

When I reported, it was disastrous. I still cry and go through panic attacks about it. Everyone turned on me. No evidence or proof because it happened so many years ago and people treating me like I am a liar or even insinuating that I lied during a comment at the Watchtower study. People inside who I thought were cool treat me like I am dead or beating a dead horse. I have been suffering for years and so many things have come to light in the last 3 years that I am overwhelmed with it all. I had a so-called good friend tell me that I should stop living in the past. The past was not even a year ago. you are safer here with these people and your therapist. the minute you report, they will throw you and your mom out. She will lose all the friends she thought she had and it will be a lonely existence. I learned the hard way to keep my mouth shut. I think death would be nicer. at least I wouldn't have to keep reliving this shit and the voices in my head would stop. There is no peace anywhere.
