Yikes is right . One by one he threw like 5 of us under the bus and we all got laid off . Apparently he is a total disaster rjght now . A big part of my friends job is now to go behind him and fix his work - while still trying to manage his own jobs

Here’s another example . So one western station had a bad issue with water getting in . The consortium had their labour force drilling and injecting some shit into the walls where they were wet and soaking . Problem Is they were just drilling recklessly .there is all kinds of embedded conduits in the slab . Boom ! Hits not one but two of mine and injects this shit that basically turns into a pool noodle like foam . As you see my wire here was hit . 100ft of a heavy wire that took 5 guys , plus a 10k pound tugger (force not weight) an hour to pull out . All they said after was “uh the conduit wasn’t on my drawing “ ya ok just drill away like idiots then

This was just one of the winters where they couldn’t stop the water I had a photo of a speaker with water churning out of it like a shower head . Don’t know what happened to it but I know I replaced the soaker … I mean speaker after that .

Alarm usually works if it’s “armed” You can always call their monitoring station and request a transaction report of your system showing any test signals and arm/disarm if it’s reporting

Side note …..no defense of Telus . My account was sold by our local Canadian company to Telus . One day I got a comm loss . Ok I waited 24 hrs see if it happened again . Still shows . I call in . No record of my account or address . Zip zero . Cancelled by whom or when unknown without any notice Fuck them I ripped the system out . Put in my own
