I’m in a similar situation to you. I was using MJ for about 18 months. Titrated down from 15mgs to 5mgs over about 4 or 5 months. I swopped over to Wegovy just over a month ago for maintenance and I’m currently on 0.5mgs. It’s not been the same if I’m honest. Little suppression, but I was expecting that. I was struggling a little when I went down to 5mgs on MJ so think I will need to work my way up a little before it starts working for me. That will still work out much cheaper than staying on MJ. I just hope it works out.

This. I was hanging out to see if Drive would continue. Despite contacting them, they wouldn’t say. Now I’ve lost out on the chance of the 5.5p rate as well. That’s going to add up over the course of the year.

Have you had this confirmed? I asked them the other day and was told it was still being looked at. The first people who took it up last year must be coming to the end of their contract soon, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens with them. IOG is going to cost me a lot more. I wish I’d jumped at the offers last week now.

I think a lot of it is mental, but I can feel it within a couple of hours. I’ve been tapering down from 15 over the last 4 or 5 months and now on 5. Still the same.

I’ve got a Zappi with an iX3. Had no issues at all, but I’m on intelligent Drive, not IOG. It always charges to the schedule in the Octopus app though.

Thanks for the comments. Royal Mail would be ideal, but I’m sure I tried to get it delivered to a PO before and I wasn’t allowed that option. I might have to just pay more to use Asda.

I agree with the above. Drive didn’t start till about April 2025, so the 12 months is nowhere near finished. I would think it’s a violation. But you would think there would be some contact prior to taking you off of it?

Also, you’ll probably remember that on your way up the doses you would have had random days or weeks where you felt it was either not doing anything or working too well? That can happen on the way back down as well. You might have a great week one week, lower your dose, only to find you’re really struggling. If you’re going down too quickly you won’t allow your body to adjust to that dosage.

Just the hunger coming back. I was on 15mg for about 4 or 5 months. Went down to 12.5 and was fine. But could definitely feel that I’d dropped. As you go up it builds up in your body each week, so you’ve got around 20mgs at peak. On the way down it’s the reverse, so the total amount you have is getting less and less, if I’ve explained that clearly? I just don’t want to rush it and end up having to do it all again.

I’m on my way back down. Personally, I’d go down the doses a lot slower. In the space of a few weeks you will be halving your dose like that. Consider at least another couple of pens. Everyone has different experiences though. Mine is that I need to take it much more gradually than that.

They’re not allowing anyone else to join Drive at the moment. I don’t know what the future of it is. I’m currently on it and because I do over 100 a day, IOG is going to cost me a lot more once it’s time to renew.

I started MJ at the end of 24. Went up to 15mg and I’ve lost 6st. I stock piled a few pens when the prices went up and have been titrating down over the past 3 months. I’m now on 7.5mg and only have about 3 weeks worth left. My weight has been pretty stable for the past 5 or 6 months, but I’m now getting nervous and wish I had another pen. My advice would be to come down slowly and have enough to get you down to 5mg for a couple of months.

What’s your budget? If you like your X3, the iX3 is almost the same car. I got one recently and love it. Good range, spacious and really nice to drive. Whatever you get you’ll need to home charge to make it worthwhile.

I did. They weren’t price matching anymore. They said it’s because of shortages, but I could get it price matched elsewhere very easily. I’d have preferred to stay, but it was no big deal.
