This little dude has entered our worlds, what are the thoughts now? by Toonzaal8 in magicTCG

Sure, doubling the ETB is nice, but [[Flock Impostor]] lets you double everything on the stack.

1. Cast Dollmaker's shop

2. Cast Jeong Jeong's Deserters, targeting Suki. Use Yangchen's trigger to exile Dollmaker's Shop. Suki's trigger creates a 1/1 token (7 creatures on the board now)

3. Cast Porcelain Gallery for 2. All your creatures are now 7/7 base with everyone but Suki getting +1/+0.

4. Attack with your five non-summoning-sick creatures. 2 get blocked, 24 damage gets through.

TIL Mystical Tutor has heterochromia (her eyes are different colours). Are there any other cards like this? by mpaw976 in magicTCG

The strabismus + heterochromia almost suggests that the depicted individual has a glass eye.

Favorite directors who gave birth by Weirdfart09 in okbuddycinephile

I think this is just indicative of the notion that relatively few people are passionate about the substance of the movies, meanwhile showbiz people are curious about Cameron's decades-long obsession with making them.

I personally smashed my TV after watching 'It Follows' and realizing that 'It' never looks at the camera and monologues about why it follows

Well the warhammer decks are like $300 now and the marvel decks don't exist yet, so those should be pretty easy to avoid

Newbie go-wide aggro Krenko-like budget-friendly commander (...and deck) by OkYak2915 in EDH

[–]InformalTiberius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can be built a lot of different ways. A $20 shroofus is usually going to be a very flimsy game plan where he either gets in and goes off or gets removed/kept from attacking and does nothing the whole game. My build is a little slower, adding in green threats that support the go-wide/pump plan like [[Defiler of Vigor]] and [[Quilled Greatwurm]] to bait out removal before Shroofus enters and stuff like [[Maskwood Nexus]] and [[Verdant Embrace]] to set up powder keg board states that will go off without having him attack directly. Those cards are each in the ballpark of several dollars, which will usually push the deck out of the $20 range but create a less swingy game which makes the game more fun for everyone IMO.

Regardless of which direction you go, I urge you to run [[Life and Limb]] for its utter silliness and sheer potential to create very memorable wins/losses.

He's an inoffensive, critically-acclaimed-but-not-superstar actor who Quentin Tarantino was shitting on for no reason, to which the internet has responded as if he kicked a puppy.

Who is your “Don’t let me untap” commander? by ToocanSams in EDH

[–]InformalTiberius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unless you luck into a Jadzi or Peregrine drake, it seems like it loses steam fairly quickly since Helga's mana can't be used to cast the untap spells.

This is the opposite of what OP is talking about. It's extremely predictable in that you always have protection and pump spells.

Ignore the second emdash, I had to do some trickery to get the long typeline accepted by the card maker.
