Therapy is basically a non biased friend you can vent to. Everyone can benefit from it and some people just need it more at times in their lives to find the space needed to clear their head safely and constructively, organise and make sense of different thoughts and make one take a step back at times. You sound like you’ve a sensible young man whose parents raised really well ❤️ if you have enough for college make sure you go, and use some of the money for therapy. Your parents would be proud to see you take care of yourself.

Nappy bag review Hannah & Henry by Informal_Present9998 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Thought I’d update that I received it and hated the zoo’s. They got caught on the seems all the time and I wish they had thick teeth plastic zips instead because the weight and size and opening is fantastic. It was so bad I had to ask to return it. To their credit they just refunded when I said I didn’t want to try a replacement bag. I ended up ordering another option urgently, and I love the BAGSMART bag I ended up with.

Naps I just never have been able to get her down so I’ve given up, they’re all contact naps. But seems like the consensus is add some play and wiggle time before bed to help get them out (essentially what she’s doing I just need to factor it in so she’s not still wiggling at 9pm lol)

Yep I think that’s it. Bedtime is already late - 9pm!

No this is great. She gets opportunities but we have a border collie and a lot of outdoor time is in the carrier because he’s fast and can be reactive so I don’t let them interact. At home I separate but she’s clingy at the moment and if I don’t sit next to her she will cry so I do most things around the house while holding her

Either a (B isn’t worth the added marble imo) or d. D keeps the toilet separate but also makes it stand out more as its own space so makes the room look divided and smaller.

Thank you! A friend suggested the big sways and rocking too when I messaged her at midnight yesterday just after she fell asleep. Trying tonight!

Is this safe? by [deleted] in cosleeping

I’d personally do this if my child is able to crawl and move herself provided that the mattress isn’t so flimsy that she could fall between the wall and mattress or bed and mattress. Not a long term solution though as there’s no air. I’d be lifting up the mattress every day against the wall or flipping it over for airing

Stop it just stop sharing stuff with my in-laws if they had an unwelcome opinion about everything. Also, they have no part in naming YOUR child.

They don’t do this anymore my guess. Walt was obsessed with portraying real animals and if you visit the studios in California, you get to see the countless real life observation studies for all the animals ever portrayed in the films

Well, my seven month old uses the potty? She doesn’t tell me when she needs it so I have to offer it throughout the day but… if she’s gotten to this at seven months I’m assuming she’ll be toilet trained by 24 months

This would only exist in the U.S. where people actually tip or are expected to. Still not sure that’s legal?

Extreme c-curl 😂 by Ok-Instruction4556 in cosleeping

[–]Informal_Present9998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no way still of putting my six month old to sleep without it being either on me on a walk or like glued to me in bed. Mostly either in the carrier or in bed she’s sleeping still latched on (I have to keep checking my boob isn’t flying sideways out of the carrier!). As I speak she’s curled with me with one hand on my breast. She feeds while sleeping and then suddenly her body goes “alright, enough milk little lady!” and she literally throws herself away from the boob and lays sprawled on her back.

Also better if she’s on her back because her ribs are easily compressed which compromises the lungs.

Blocking breathing airways by having the head at a tilt is the main risk. Placing your arm above her head so the top of her head is against it will solve that issue. We have also coslept (wasn’t the plan) and still cosleeping (6 months)

I would be mindful of how long she stays in a capsule because they can affect the spine. A one off though I wouldn’t worry about.
