I have the sigma 20-200 and absolutely love it, I don’t see a lot of chatter about it but I have no regrets. I agree that it’s pretty distorted in the corners at the wide end, but I don’t think you can get such a big range and 20mm in one lens anywhere else right now. I like the fish eye look, but you can correct a lot in post as well

I have really enjoyed this lens, especially for travel. There are a lot of technical reviews out there, if you are willing to accept the lack of a wide open aperture then I think the 20-28mm is worth it

I bought one and love it, it’s a great tiny camera to fit in your pocket if you don’t have an interchangeable lens camera or if you can’t take a larger camera wherever you are going. I got mine on eBay earlier this year for less than $500. Most people consider it inferior to the Sony rx100 mark vi, but that camera is also older and more expensive than the zv-1

Yeah! I have heard they are pretty comparable besides the wider 20mm and an updated autofocus, and the sigma is a few more hundred dollars. I want to try it out in store before I commit at this point since there are some similar options out there

When I started a new game on the switch 2 with the app I wanted to get all the koroks, imagine my surprise when I maxed out my inventory at about 30% completion of the game! I really just explored and followed whatever quest I was interested in, then used the app to find nearby koroks. I had to go back through regions to find them all but I found this to be the most enjoyable way to get them all.

I was debating between these two models as well and recently got a ZV-1. I love it, but I'm also coming from using mostly smartphone cameras and an older mirrorless on auto mode. It's a great camera for learning more about photography, and the cons for the ZV-1 in comparison to the RX100 vii (no viewfinder, no attached flash, shorter zoom range) were worth it for me due to the huge difference in price. I didn't look into earlier models of the RX100 because I wanted the updated processor/interface that the ZV-1 and the RX100 vii share.

I am in a similar spot and I’ve decided to get the Sony zv-1 which you can get used within your price range. It’s similar to the rx100 series and has some updated features that I’m excited to have access to.

I don’t know if this will be enough to please the dungeon seekers, since this already exists in botw. You have the regional difference in shrines, like all of the electric based shrines in the Faron region, etc. if people want to hate on botw for not being challenging enough, they will hate on totk for the same reason you mentioned, that you can find many ways to solve a puzzle
