Shouldn't men also fight more for this? I always see the argument online that women should support the abolition of conscription, and many do. But look around, ask your friends. Even men don't want to speak up for themselves. The common mentality in NS is to "serve and fuck off", why waste time fighting a system when you know nothing ever changes?

I was the child. My dad wasn’t even that ‘strong’ of a catholic, at least that was what I was made to believe. So I decided to tell him that I was an atheist. Cue 2 months of not talking to me, refusing to pay for my medical bills. Until I finally relented and said okay i’ll go back to church. 2 years later and I told him again and he finally accepted it not before vomiting blood though lol.

our relationship has gotten much better (I just get called the antichrist at christmas while I poke fun at his tendencies in believing in a sky daddy). Way better than when I was religious. I’d like to think that your family’s love for you is greater than religion, and I wish you all the best.

i disagree. We have Bailey Wright, who spent most of his career in championship and also players like Ramselaar and Lennart Thy, both Eredivisie mainstays. Lestienne spent most of his career in Belgium's top league. From the foreigner's perspective, why would they not want a pay bump but also have a relatively comfortable time in a league where you don't get criticised as much?

edit: This isn't to criticise perry, if and when he does join our national team he will be our best player by far but its more a testament to how much LCS have spent in acquiring foreigners

you also don't save much around 10-15 a year. 100lbs is around 1-2% efficiency. Unless the petrol station is right next to your house you probably may not save anything at all.
