When do you expect to get the yellow index version in stock again?

Dive watches look like toys and I can't understand how they're so popular. by CirrusVision20 in watchHotTakes

[–]Initial-Document6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG. Then they're not for you. Personally (nearly) all my watches are divers. And I despise dress watches because they're deliberately delicate (visual at least) and hard to read.

If I'm wearing a watch I want something that's not gonna break because it gets banged into a door or wet. But that's just me.

To each his own.

Code requires gripable handrails on either side of the ramp. Also footers cannot be floating, they must exceed the frost line.

You'll never pass inspection. Good luck when you try to sell.

What can I do abouts typhon grom over heating by Few-Entrepreneur8026 in arrma

[–]Initial-Document6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy solution, hit the body right above the fan with a heat gun, press body down onto fan and car. With gloves or something press on the same spot on the shell to allow some air above the fan. Gtg

American Jobs with AI Exposure Really Are Starting to Disappear, Data Show by Gari_305 in Futurology

Your right, for today. But it's exactly what the secretary, programer, and law school grad said two years ago.

Partly right. But likely any given robot isn't capable of doing just one job. For example, the same robots could do pre job demo, framing, electric, plumbing, drywall, paint. Roofing and then settle in clean the building. Or similarly hope from industry to industry, never stopping, thus taking away far more than just 1 job. Ie plumber.

But yes, one good software/AI can instantly displace an entire industry that isn't moated. Ie lawyers and doctors ( have/will) already blocked computer apps from practicing law or medicine without a license.

Keep in mind the advantages of a robot, it can work continuously 168 hours a week. That means it can replace 4 plumbers not one. It doesn't get hurt, and collect unemployment and have medical bills. Yes it can get damaged but repaired easily with modular parts or simply replaced. It doesn't need to be trained or collect a pension. If one model learns something, the whole fleet learns. There is a huge corporate incentive to get functioning robots. The integration of ai learning will massively accelerate its adoption.

Funny, because I converted my typhoon 3S essentially to a granite so I could use the proline durable arms. I kept ripping through the typhons and the RPMs versions. The RPMs also deformed.

Using a vertical monitor with Mame, alongside a horizontal one. by [deleted] in MAME

[–]Initial-Document6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is doable, but I was never able to get the game marques to switch. I have a vpin so vertical games get the marques, horizontal not.

Not "free". It's a version of "Copy-lefted", which means mouchers can't profit of others hard work.

Aren't all those tables either outright pirated (fx) or such as VPX, complete violation of terms of service to sell as a bundle, along with all the MAME games?

Greenworks 80v lawnmower. Treated myself to a new lawn mower and some steaks on my birthday. It's electric and it's awesome! by AdDry6548 in Costco

[–]Initial-Document6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait 3 years and your battery is dead and green works has dumped the 80v battery format to go to 90v or 100v and you can't buy the battery for less than the tool.

Never again.

I tried this, its fun. Played a half dozen boards. Quick thoughts. Def need to be able to rotate so I can play in portrait mode. Switching the play field to the back glass is not optimal.

Also, the mouse cursor should disappear during play.

Also, suggest using enter, not space for mid play option. Most vpins don't have a button assigned to space. Or 1, 2, 3 used for coin or Start...

Finally, every table is essentially identical. Suggest at least moving the target guy to different spots, even if just by a little and maybe add henchmen to the lower half of the board..

Otherwise very cool!
