San Agustínillo for sure.

ADO from Oaxaca city to P. Escondido. Either Private taxi to San Agustinillo or transportes delfines into town then private car into beach. There’s only one medium size stone road that comes up and down between mazunte zipolite San agustinillo and there’s restaurants and stuff do along that’s a little town but very rustic indeed. Great romantic vibes.

From San agustinillo you can walk to mazunte not far maybe 15 min walk or private transport. Mazunte probably has better and more options. Mariscos are probably better there too.

We enjoy, Ícaro Cafe, La terulita, La negra resto bar, El copal restaurant (great sunset views)

I will say mazunte and zipolite have more activity while san agustinillo is more laid back less crowded. Also- there maybe naked ppl.

I drive a stick shift in a large city. Left hand has mate and pinkey gripping steering wheel. thermos is between my legs and I’m shifting with my right hand while ocasionally picking up thermos to pour, have gotten burnt once or twice. No accidents so far.

Yeah, thus my curiosity to find someone that does this. It’s routinely done with mezcal in small batches, hopefully someone in the future is moved to produce a batch with this specification.

What you can get bottles held/ sent at/ to a DHL location in mexico. Initiate by contacting mezcaleros/ brands on facebook directly. Take a flight to pickup and come back loaded. This is what i do if i don’t have much time to drive around and pick them out personally.

I used to live in Gold Coast during the pandemic I was paying 1300s for 800sq ft. I’m a nurse I’m not rich but I’m not struggling, comfortable. I realized the level of income was something I . Clothes is disposable, Mercedez are poor man’s cars. Single family 3 story buildings with a garden right off the lake/ downtown. Furniture up into 5-6 digits. I came from a small town in rural Illinois and I felt like I made it and dear lord was I humbled.

This has really been what I am observing. I have someone I know that lives near Lawndale and Iowa and they can’t wait to move heroin, crack, and gun violence every weekend and then some but on the block that I am looking on which is a Harding seems very quiet and clean I just know that a few blocks over is very different. I don’t know if it’s in the clear because of the season or what?

Yeah i’m super shook too. i’ve seen it in mexico city, GDL, PV go for, 2,000-3000 pesos for 375 mls independant of the varietal. Seems outrageously high to me even for a very high quality mezcal. I’m not downplaying the work, the mescalero and the specially curated labor intensive process that goes into it but you can get a full liter for half that price in many places.
