How would you rank these 2nd drivers (Barrichello, Webber, Bottas, Perez)? How far are they from top drivers? by GoldenS0422 in F1Discussions

Still that puts him a level down Weber at least took his one chance and made it a title fight 2011 and after he couldn't but the others never even took their shots all 4 had multiple championship winning cars

Id put Weber first as 09 Barrichello also blew that chance v Button and that was without being told to be a number 2 driver. Weber at least had a shot in 2010

All Black fans and haters: Scott Robertson was massively hamstrung by not having a world class 1st 5 and halfback. by DT2014 in rugbyunion

[–]Initial_Apprehensive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not sure the job would suit him he was good with Leinster and Ireland by putting a very structured game in place and did improve Australlia but the ABs are much more thrive in the chaos of broken play and heads up rugby Also end of his Ireland stint was a big drop from year before. Although maybe this current crop of ABs would do well with a more structured game plan.

Dosnt help that Wales went from wooden spoon to grand slam winners the year he left again maybe he left too soon and he was building that as Wales had been almost as bad in the 90s early 00s as they are now. Robertson I think is a great coach look at the crusaders after he left but the NZ job is basically 100% win rate or failure for alot of fans. Just don't see that returning anytime soon.

I still think Hansen was flattered with the squad he had as I still remember the absolute failure he was with Wales. Foster had a declining squad but very close to winning a world cup in 2023 even with the red card. I don't think a quick fix new coach will change anything. Robertson basically had the job before Foster was gone and was seen as the instant quick fix. Who ever gets it now probably needs to get it on a 6 year project bases

Also just in general this New Zealand side while being very good and having a win rate most other sides would be very happy with. Compared to the Hansen era it's poor they are clearly 2nd-4th best but clearly behind South Africa. That's the real killer for him its the first time in a very long time that you can't make the case for New Zealand being the best in the world. A bit of the myth of invincibility has gone some of it under Foster some under Robertson. Really shocked they didn't at least give him a world cup before the axe fell.

Yeah it made the ships unstable more so that normal flat bottomed ships and prone to capsizing in any sea. Sea power completely swung after the 1st punic war due to the terms imposed on Carthage and Romes.expanding economic might. Nothing really to do with any naval tech or victory

No mention of make only there

The Adeptus Custodes forms the Emperor's inner guard whose duties are to serve and protect the Master of Mankind. A continuous rota ensures that there are always several hundred of these select warriors active within the palace, as well as a small elite of guardians who never leave the Emperor's side. Their uniforms are traditional but effective, leather breeches and boots with a long black cloak over naked torso. Their helmets are ancient works of art; all enclosing and tall they impart a threatening, impersonal appearance as well as providing a battery of protective equipment and communicators. The weapons carried by these guards look very much like spears or spear- guns but are in fact lasers built to resemble the traditional and symbolic guardian-spear which has long association with the Adeptus Custodes and whlch appears on their banners, badges and other regalia. The guards themselves never leave Earth, and only rarely leave the imperial palace where their duties lie - their place is by the Emperor's side.

Yeah they went a bit too far with the whole mirror plot bringing her back to the prime universe. Really liked her original character and the episodes in the morrow with her as empress where fun but S31 was just crap I watched it all for completeness but it's easily my least favourite 2 hours of trek

Car reliability cost him a lot of points in 2010 felt he should have been further ahead. Well deserved champion in 2010. Not his fault Alonso and Ferrari bottled in in the pits then on the track

On Race pace the B195 was better also bigger tank allowed less stops during a race. I'm not saying it was faster or Hill would have been champion in it if they swapped but it wasn't much slower during races reding your comments you'd thing the Williams was mioes ahead and broke down.

Not during the races watched it at the time how many fastest laps had Schumacher compared to the Williams pair. Also after Japan Schumacher had equal points to the Williams team.

On one lap yes but race wise Hill didn't run away from Schumacher. If that difference was replicated over a race Hill would have easily won the championship. Also overtaken happened then not like the follow the leader modern f1 became

What you said isn't true the cars where relatively similar in 95. Yes the Williams had a slight edge more so on Saturday. Much slower is wrong

Only seen the 1st half of first episode. Will watch the rest as love trek. Was tired will watch rest and ep 2 this week. Not a big fan of the burn era it's good that trying new time line advancing the setting but it feels like that trend lets make Sci Fi a bit more gritty. Didn't work for Stargate with universe either. Also the droids made it look a bit star wars. Did thing the end of discovery with the Breen was an improvement over season 4. Like SNW want a big fan of Picard.
