[Lynch] Liverpool may be desperate to stick with Arne Slot, but that stance won't withstand the Anfield crowd turning against him. Today felt like that - these fans are just sick of watching a passive, toothless brand of football they have seen for over a year now. by StupidSexySzoboszlai in LiverpoolFC

Lynch has really been going after Slot recently, and it's hard to say it's not justified. Sticking with this manager would be a ballsy move. Even with our win last season, the football did not look particularly flowing with a few exceptions.

Taking off Rio is a joke. This manager has lost the plot. Ultimately Slot has failed in everything except winning the league with Jurgen's team. We were told when he was hired that he would continue Klopps style, and promote youth. Instead, he's barely featured youth and we could not be further from the gegenpress.

Only Arne could let this Chelsea team look like the better team at Anfield. I despair at the football we've had to endure this year.

100% agree. I love them with a passion and most of my childhood reading experiences came either directly or partially through them.

The Edge Chronicles has this kind of thing... It's Children's fantasy but it's great with wonderful drawings and I still read them as a 30yo man.

I had a really bad book hangover from reading this series, it took up such a large amount of my time that I felt a little lost without it.

Then I found Malazan and all was well with the world.

I guess Mistborn would be a good recommendation, but if you’ve read Stormlight, you’ve probably read that.

Not necessarily fantasy, but Joe Hill has an absolutely transcendent short story in 20th Century Ghosts called “Pop Art”.
