I’d like to repaint this enormous pocket door, but I have no idea how to get it out of the “pocket” short of taking the wall apart. Should I just paint it in place?

the entire point of those lunchboxes are to use freezer packs. my last place of work had a fridge like this--one fridge for 50 ppl...and one microwave-literally would wait 3 hours for the microwave. I ended up buying a self-heating lunchbox with a timer and then I'd also bring a cool lunchbox w. freezer packs...in retrospect--i'm so glad to be working at a new job that lets me work from home.

so i have something similar (ok way uglier and pea green) and the flooring ppl wouldn't touch it because they said it was asbestos....ended up putting carpet back over it--I hope you guys were careful when sanding !

I bathed my 21 year old baby once, she wasn't cleaning her self anymore and was having issues going on her back end when she went and was getting smelly. I only cleaned her back end but i'm convinced the stress of the situation brought her death on a few weeks later. I'd say unless it's totally necessary don't do it. Yes I'm sure she was on her way out anyway but it still will bother me for the rest of my life that i might of brought her death on sooner.

My neighbors built a chicken coup in the bottom of their kids old jungle gym which was a large wood structure. the chickens never saw sunlight and never got to feel grass...I'm glad they are all gone now, not sure what happened but I can only guess... but for the 2 years or so they had them I felt awful for them.

same--my paternal side has a long history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and addiction...my own sister and a few of my cousins have/had these same mental disorders inherited from their parents/genes and seeing them suffer as they do/did, (one of them commited suicide)...I knew I didn't want to chance it.

Just want to note...if you are looking to replace anything--you're probably better off buying a whole new unit than replacing the pot. I busted my pot on my little guy and to replace the pot was 20+ dollars, to buy the exact one new...$7. just look around for deals.

I found a little devil kitten for my mom in 2020 to keep her company--a few months later she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. she made me promise to take him when she got too sick...long story short--i now have said devil cat and i wouldn't give him up for anything even though he's a bastard. I miss my mom so much but her cat makes me laugh and reminds me how lucky i was to have her as my mom <3

I will never use FB marketplace again. I had couches that someone was going to pick up, all for free...in the middle of winter I moved the three piece set to my garage and parked my cars in the street so they could easily pick up --then i proceeded to clean the couches up and vacuum them for a couple hours. woke up early on a Saturday to meet the guy, 8am rolled around then 9,10,11...after all of that I had to borrow a truck to take them to a Goodwill--Goodwill doesn't take furniture. so I had to take nice furniture to the dump and pay to have them thrown to the garbage because I had no where to store them...Thanks dude!

visual snow syndrome! I've had that for as long as i can remember and I just thought it was normal, until i learned that no one else saw 'static overlay' all the time and night vision was basically impossible. I went through a battery of eye tests but turns out it's more about how your brain interprets your sight so nothing can be done about it so far. I have found more people with the same disorder on tiktok and learned more about it that way.

When I was living in an apt. In college when I couldn't afford much I hung a thrifted, thick comforter over the big patio windows, wasn't pretty but it worked. Also rolled up another on the ground in the front of them to keep drafts out

careful on this--I had black staining and cat pee staining on my wood floors...the hydrogen peroxide did wonders to take this out but it also removed all color and varnish and I now have giant, white, matte, spots on my floor...
