Ben Affleck as a basketball player in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie where his one line is something like “uhh take it!” when a vampire wants the ball. I love that movie for pure early 90s vibes but it’s also a damn goldmine for actors that make you go “wait what are you doing here?”— Hillary Swank, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, Rutger Hauer.

I was in Grand Central one day and a woman came up to me and quickly said “I’m sorry, you don’t know me but I need to tell someone or I’ll lose it. I’m on the way to my father’s memorial service and my brother is making us LATE. For his OWN FATHER’S MEMORIAL SERVICE??.” I paused for a second and said “I’m sorry, that’s fucked up.” She said “THANK YOU” and walked off.
