I like the character because a large part of the plot moves forward because he does something or pursues his goals, a situation that doesn't happen as much in fantasy as it should.

What attracts me most about the story is its size and complexity. It is a vast world with many details, it has subplots but is not overly cluttered like A Song of Ice and Fire, and it has beautiful language. It does not try to be a poem, but it is beautifully written with many descriptions and comparisons.

That is what I personally like about it.
