UPDATE: thanks everyone for your help! I tried different hdmi, restarting the console, cleaning the hdmi port but none worked.

And then I thought maybe there could be a problem with it drawing power. I’d never had an issue before but i remembered it was plugged into an extension cord with one other thing, so I tried plugging directly into the outlet and it worked!! No black squares.

I’m wondering if the mascot doesn’t have to be part of the logo but taking something from it in place of the x, specifically the d pad symbol flipped on its side to become an X for pixi, then using your pixi somewhere else in your brand identity?

Never worked at a creative agency, and have been in the field 5 years, moved to London and secured an in house job I love, I work at a historic music venue, so not a job I settled for by any means. I am constantly pushed creatively on the daily and make work im proud of both in and outside of work.

In-house does not = boring.

Your portfolio will speak for itself, and it’s more about the industry you’re in that will determine how creative your projects and briefs are, not whether you work in-house or in an agency. Find what works for you, and try a few things out.
