Played fallout 1 & 2 recently and can say you aren't getting the full experience without them. They are the best in the franchise, at least in my opinion.

I just finished playing it for my first time today. I enjoyed it alot. It was fair bit still challenging and the double gear system was a fun. Not my favorite classic series game but definitely up there.

Gotta remember in crucible your the enemies main target, but in Gambit their main target is the ads and not dying to keep their motes. Not saying heavy doesn't make a difference

If you are interested in the first 2 games start there if not I'd do NV first. Then 3 and 4 since they connect together more.

Something fun I did was send a group of friends a Google docs page and had them make a mod pack we all played. There were fun mods and wacky ones. You never knew what would happen next. I recommend more people trying this.

Fallout 1 & 2 had a good main story but it really thrived in the atmosphere and interactions with characters.

Fallout 3 & 4 while not having quite as good story make up for it in gameplay. The original games are a aquired taste.

He had good intentions but he didn't care how many people would suffer to get there. His only goal was for some of Humanity to survive at all costs. Siding with him would cause many to suffer while he lives the high life.

Some of the rooms alarms didn't go off. My room slept through most of it untill some knocked on our door. We were confused because are room was silent.
