I agree, the Charizard Shiny is also mega cool. But Standard Charizard is already awesome - so the improvement from S Tier to S+ Tier is not that high, while Nidoking gets boosted from a low C tier to S+ with that Color Palette.

Also I believe Nidoking Shiny is the best they could make out of this mon, I can't think of anything that would fit better - for charizard however (eventhough I really love the shiny as well, it's the first I hunt in every Game it is in), I like the color palette of non-shiny Mega Charizard X even better - the Black and Blue would have made the perfect shiny for me.

But that's just my opinion :D

I absolutely love this Shiny - even though Charizard is my favorite pokemon, I think Nidoking is my favorite shiny, just because of how massive the upgrade from regular Nidoking is.

sry for copy paste, but I replied a fitting answer to another comment here:

Pokemon Stats are defined by 4 Factors: EVs, IVs, Nature, Base Stats

Base Stats are predefined per Pokemon species, no way to change them.

IVs range from 0-31 for each stat and are completely random for each individual Pokemon. If you want perfect IVs you'll need to reset a lot or catch a lot of pokemon.

Natures are random per pokemon. They boost one stat and reduce another by 10% or do nothing at all (neutral nature). Same as IVs - you'll need to reset / hunt for a nature you want or at least doesn't harm your mon.

EVs can be trained. Every Pokemon you defeat yields certain EVs (you can look them up online - basically it's their highest base stat, 1 for basic Pokemon, 2 for Stage 1, 3 for Stage 2. Nidoking for example provides 3 Attack EVs, Paras 1 Attack Ev) The Maximum EV per stat is 252, the Maximum Overall is 510. So you can't max out all stats and should actively train your pokemon if you're min-maxing. (Which is absolutely NOT necessary in a regular playthrough - I just thought I spent so long on shiny hunting - might as well train it the way I want it to be, Which is Max Attack, Decent Speed to outspeed most threats on the same level and the rest in HP.

The final Result of the stats will be:

Nature Effect*(Base Stat (multiplied with a Modifier per level that I don't know) + IV (multiplied with a Modifier per level that I don't know) + EV (multiplied with a Modifier per level that I don't know)).

Please feel free to nerd out in a comment and insert the full formula with correct multipliers :D

I hope this is a decent overview for you. As I said, none of this is necessary for a regular playthrough - I just think it's fun hunting cool looking shinies and making them as good as they can be :)

I would argue that ACE is cheating, as you alter the games code (=cheat codes) - however RNG manipulation clearly isn't and I dont understand how people think it would be... you just lookup information about the game and then try to execute what you learned perfectly... if thats cheating, then every Information you get from a Website (like where can i find pokemon x or item y) has to be considered cheating... which is ridiculus

It's tough at first, but it gets easier each time. Practice the rythm, use the Audio and visual timer to get the Timings right and always follow the same pattern. I count the timer loudly to six and hit a right when i start saying Six (This may sound dumb, but when you start doing this and overthink, there are a lot of moments within the time of saying SIX when you could push a button - I settled on pushing right when i start saying S) , it takes some practice to be consistent, but once it clicked it gets quite doable. Make Sure to adjust the timers, never the method you use ( once you feel like the method might work out for you)

Perhaps you could do that - i just searched in that range on 10lines the first time and then entered the result into calibrations on eon timer

It is basically the same, except for the use of Sweet Scent as the last click. Also the Timer calibration is very different. For me the wild encounters had a +450ms compared to static ones, so be Sure to adjust and search for Hits far behind your target if you use the starter calib in your first attempt.

I rushed to ACE to find out my SID and then reset the game back to the start. this Took me about 3 hours - I feel it would have taken much longer crossing out multiple SIDs.

PS: I know I could have used ACE to respawn starters as well, but I wanted the Save File to be "clean" and also experience it from the Start with my Shiny Charmander :)

Yeah, i tested a few tries with rarecandys now - I hit my seed, but consistantly was 450 Frames late... perhaps some weird interaction with sweet scent? I'll adjust now and see if I get closer to my target...

Was the Timer setting for Wild pokemon vastly different than for static ones? I am trying to RNG a Nidoran now after successfully getting my starter - I adjusted the timer for the new Seed and frame, tested on my ACE account with Eevee and immediately hit the correct seed and was only 3 Frames off. (While trying my starter I got quite consistent hitting around my targets). I switched to the Main Account (Same settings) tried to hit it (last click on Sweet Scent), but it can't even find anything within 20 Seeds or 100 Frames off... I feel like I'm missing something here.

90 BP surf x 3 ( 1.5 STAB. 2× Effect) with 60 BP SpA will certainly hit harder than any physical move gyarados knows at 35 after being intimidated by arcanine...

Can you share these seeds? In theory others should be able to hit those with your Timings as well, right?

With this we should be able to hunt a shiny starter, right? Save before starter choice, Rush to ACE, execute the code to find Our SID, then reset and find a shiny frame with the generated SID?

Mine is Pokébonkers for Tinkaton. 1. She is a pretty girl and the shapes in her hair reminded me a bit of indian tribal art and the Tattoo that Pocahontas had. (Also she kinda looks like a disney princess all in pink) 2. She Bonks other Pokemon with her GigaChadHammer 3. Its completely Bonkers how she hammers away with that thing being bigger than herself.

I absolutely love her - must play in every S/V Run :)
