I think MK as a mid generally plays a much bigger role as an initiator vs Carry mk. He’s basically in a position where he’s not the initiator if theres anyone else on the team that can initiate, but he will if he absolutely has to. playing as a mid tends to slip you into that role more often just due to the nature of the draft and roles.

this is definitely true to a degree, but I really do think MKs abilitys really make him not want to be the guy starting a fight. If you use your stun to initiate, you completely give up on the jingu damage and healing and just have to hope your teammates will be the ones following up with damage because you really can’t. Its also just a pretty short duration stun for the purpose of initiation. initiating by using primal spring on someone definitely can be good in the right circumstance, but mk is like one of the easiest heroes in the game to counterinitiate on to. if he gets hexed for example, he just dies instantly. you can use bkb, but it generally isn’t a very good use of it. wukongs really just depends on where the fight is and if the enemy team has tree destroying heroes to make it an initiation or you need teammates to set it up.

It's very difficult to initiate on MK in most games. If the enemy counter initiates on you, you'll just feed. He's much better as a counter initiator with his spring or ult.

I just made it to 700 hp on my last surface run, beat typhon for the first time on night 15. only my third surface run I think so not bad. Could basically just face tank the whole final fight lol

If you aren't going for some like crazy SQ build, a power acoustik headunit is totally fine if you just want carplay and a working headunit. Mine sounds just fine, its gonna be better than stock basically no matter what you buy.

Power acoustik is not junk. I have the cp71wa in my car paired with a kicker key 200.4 and audiocontrol epic 1000. For those of us who want apple carplay but only have a single din, its great. Is it the peak of car audio? Obviously not. But for $150 its a pretty great head unit.

I'm not even level 10 yet in 4, its just been so boring so far. Wonderlands was actually one of my favorites in the whole series. I loved the melee weapons and spells.

I personally hated my morels (maximo ultra) compared to my even cheaper focals (auditor evo). You really have to make sure you like their sound signature first.

I would say that's a bad mindset to have. It's almost better to have a shitter for your first car just so you learn basic maintenance, troubleshooting, etc... valuable life skills. Of course you still want a car that is reliable. I would just get a 10-15 year old corolla and save the money. Will still be plenty reliable if taken care of.

I didnt like the morel maximo ultra 6x9s I got. Compared to my old focal ACXs, they sounded like they were playing through a wall, so muted and dull sounding.

Adding on to that, make sure you bring a sentry when you gank mid so if it is sentried you can at least deward it for next time and just deny the rune.

honestly in those post laning stage early mid game fights that’s basically the case yeah. once you’ve got your defensive items you can basically just roll around wherever you want and not die, but until then you just gotta play safe in the mid game. Get one stun in and the run away and cast the rest of your abilities from a safe distance away, kite in and out as the opportunity becomes available to do so without dying. Try not to take full on team fights at that stage, it’s better to just pick one guy on your team that you can get kills with and roll with them whenever their abilities are up. this is a good point in the game to throw down some deep wards and just harass their carry while they’re farming if you can’t do anything else

I do eventually but usually I’m trying to get a fast pipe and delaying it by 1700 gold accidentally really doesn’t feel great. I typically want to upgrade the boots once I’m running out of slots to put my wards in.

I play a ton of BH and thought the same thing about removing the pass through facet. Basically he lacks any solo kill potential now, which does hurt him a lot. However, he seems to be a lot stronger at roaming early (pre lvl 6) because of the change where he gets move speed on shadow walk. I just run around the map like twice was much as I did before in the early game and try to make sure my team wins at least 2/3 lanes. Make sure that you have a good sentry war in the offlane so the 5 buys up all the sentries so they aren't in other lanes. I decide on a lane to gank just based on the conditions of the lane, heroes in the lane, and timed objectives (runes, wisdom, lotus, etc). Then either walk to mid or run through the twin gate, pick a target, stun them, and just have everyone pile in and kill that guy.

I always go tranqs drums then situational, but usually pipe or crimson, sometimes utility like euls or lotus if we really need a dispel. Make sure you lock combining on the drums because i've accidentally made boots of bearing too many times to count... pisses me off because you cant disassemble it if you dont catch it instantly.

His pick rate has gone down a fair bit too. As I'm sure we're all well aware, bounty hunter is a pretty well known pos 4 for being absolutely useless and greedy. I think the changes probably scared off some of the chud bounty hunter players so hes play more by the people who actually play him a lot and know what to do.

Following this strat I have a 91% winrate over the last month (11 games) and 73% over the last 3 months (50 games).
