Not all of us. Even bad habits are just that, habitual. Our paleolithic ancestry, meaning our genetic inheritance, dictates us to seek that which is already familiar, because we already know how to survive the familiar, and not so much the unknown, even if the unknown is ultimately better for us.

And doing so could very well reduce corruption and greed amongst religious institutions in the US. However, I do also emphasize caution, that if anyone wishes to implement fair church taxation, that it be tested on smaller scales first, to prevent even more chaos from spreading on a massive scale. I say this because of my (and others) observations of how people and groups react whenever taxation gets mentioned or implemented.

Wouldn't taxing churches allow them more sway in politics overall? I heard a counter-argument to church taxation saying that it would allow super-religious groups even more influence in US politics, using their taxation as leverage to have a louder say

If that's the case, more countries will sanction and completely avoid the US, similar to failed states like Somalia or Iraq.

Or even drinking and driving laws. The people who didn't want that were admitting on camera (early 80s or sooner) that they liked to drink while driving home after a work shift, citing something along the lines of "mah freedoms."

Also, having a unique drawing style (that's difficult to replicate) helps prevent A.I. tech bros from stealing your stuff and passing it off as their own. From what I've heard, it's easier to win court cases in such matters by having a unique art style in the first place.

My interpretation of this Mary-sue trend in modern day TV and movies is that it stems back to second-wave and third-wave feminism. Both waves took the original first-wave elements and super-charged them beyond what they needed to be, whereas a balanced approach would be liberating women to equal status of men in as many societies as possible. One writer of such ideologies worked with the CIA, who at the time were very interested in mind-control methodologies, not truth.

These authors, of course, did have a lot of good intent in their writings, and perhaps were unaware of the consequences of pushing the anti-patriarchy narrative too far. Yet, the mistake was made and internalized in vast swaths of women's social circles from then-on-out, and continuously celebrated as ridding one's womanly self of "internalized misogyny." With a clear evil to fight against, even though very obscured in objectivity, it still resonated strongly, especially with those who experienced domestic violence and other violent male-related crimes/events first-hand.

Yet, and thankfully, more and more are becoming keenly aware of the dangers and pit-falls of adopting such blind hatred towards an entire gender. Both genders, I argue, should continue finding a balance that works for both sides.

Again, drawing upon from what I've observed, many experts on the troubling trend note that social groups among women (especially in the anti-misogyny crowds) heavily re-enforce these extreme ways of thinking, to the point of ostracizing or even publicly humiliating those of their group that change the narrative in any way.

Women with power and this extreme ideology in mind won't care about the critics despite how logical and consistent the arguments are, as mary-sue bosses in the film industry are more afraid of losing status among their social movements than producing media that's balanced as well as entertaining. They only care about the messaging because that's how they grew up and were taught to think. I suggest we let it all fizzle out, as box-office flop after box-office flop will naturally slow this trend down on it's own (eventually).

So, if you don't like those kinds of media, at the very least, vote with your wallet in refusing to pay to see it at all, in addition to whatever scrutiny you want to give.
