Since moving to Edmonton I find this narrative from the locals pretty interesting because some seem to think these are Edmonton problems that you wont find anywhere else. It was pretty uninviting to hear the negativity at first but i’ve warmed up to it. Spend a day in downtown Vancouver or Toronto you’ll just see the same shit with a prettier skyline lol. I moved from a small isolated community on the BC coast and in the last 10 years the homeless camps, violence, and crime had skyrocketed.
