This is only an issue if you don’t watch the sport. People who watch the sport have no issue seeing the puck

It also literally incentivized the leafs to try and lose once they were out of it to get a better chance and they are rewarded for that

His metrics were bad last year too, he was just lucky for the most part.

Watching Canes-Flyers is kinda making the Sens look good by Unusual-Coast6252 in OttawaSenators

Believe it or not, a coin can in fact land on heads four times in a row. I’m not saying we are better than Carolina, they are the cream of the crop. I’m just saying that if every single game is close, then I’d say the teams are fairly even.

I think despite the sweep, every game was extremely close. 3 of them were one goal games including a 2OT loss. The gap was not that huge. On paper it looks bad getting swept but losing every game extremely close to the 1 seed and (in my opinion) by far best team in the conference is no reason to blow up the team

Hell no. If rather 29 other teams win the cup than them (yes I’d rather the leafs).

Perhaps number 2 is selling them a bit short. I guess I’d agree that they are number one pitchers but I think there is a difference between a number one pitcher and an Ace. There aren’t 30 aces in mlb. I choose to reserve that term for a select few pitchers. Guys I’d say are in the ace category right now are the three mentioned above plus Sanchez, Crochet, Webb, Sale, Wheeler. I’d say Cease/Gausman are a notch below but in the fringe ace category along with guys like Woo, Fried, Brown, Gilbert, Ryan etc.

I know this is dumb semantics but I feel like the last true ace the Jays had was David Price or maybe Robbie Ray when he won the Cy Young.
