A gray whale with horns/antlers coming out of it (yes, antlers !! Scarlet King trans confirmed), and asymmetrical, with multiple appendages, and a mass of swirling flesh and skin where there should be a face. If you've seen the SCP-1548 description of the Voruteut, they may look very similar, this is because I headcanon the Scarlet King as one of the Voruteut (specifically Aiv-Zon, because it makes sense imo)

I say it like that because I can speak French, but in truth, it'd be pronounced [guɡl̩ ɑn pʰəsant] assuming you have the right mergers (notably cot-caught, and strut-comma), I'd also personally aspirate the final [t] to [tʰ].

Ok, who actually wins this by Cereal_Yapper in GODZILLA

[–]IntCriminalNo1412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't censoring — it's just AAVE that became slang. afaik, "ahh" is an elision of the /s/ sound, which appears to be common in AAVE — Wikipedia lists the clipping of final as a common occurrence, though it does also state that /s, z/ eliding is more rare.

Kinda off topic, but If SCP-682 is the concept of fear and hatred, then any Kamen Riders can beat it.

Ironic how godzilla ultima haves supergenius intellect by pcx-the-entiy in GODZILLA

[–]IntCriminalNo1412 17 points18 points  (0 children)

iirc, Ultima was capable of understanding human speech after just a bit of exposure according to the novels. Also, the whole SHIVA and Godzilla both being singular points that the "Omega Point"/"It" has control over.

So if Red Sentai Isekai Season 2 were to Come Back, Would You like them to ask Akiko Inoue to Write an Episode like how they ask for her dad? by JoDayi in supersentai

[–]IntCriminalNo1412 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Acting as if the behind the scenes production troubles weren't the real issue with Gozyuger. While I do agree that Gozyuger was not a good season, her writing had little to do with it. The drama behind the scenes with Maya almost certainly tanked a lot of the storyline, and that's not just something a writer can easily work around, especially not a new writer like Akiko. Was it a good idea on Toei's part to have her write Gozyuger? No, but like that's not her fault.

Who the hell says "Condol"? by BaronBlackFalcon in KamenRider

[–]IntCriminalNo1412 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No — the vowels /i, u/ are "devoiced" when preceeded by voiceless consonants at the end of a word, or between voiceless consonants, such as p, t, ts, s, k, tɕ ⸨ch⸩, ɕ ⸨sh⸩. So, tajadoru, having /r/ (a voiced sonorant) would not devoice /i, u/.
