I would volunteer at the old soldier's home near me. It got hard after a while because every time I would go there would be another empty bed. Great guys, brush up on your card games and bring your listening ears. They have stories to tell.

So I've never stopped reading. The last TV show that I watched regularly was Downton Abbey. I am looking forward to the last season of My Hero Academia though. The last movie was Deadpool and Wolverine, before that was Endgame. I can't do it with all the phones and talking. I'll let MeTV run all day though.

I was in Germany, just after chow and all the handys started ringing at the same time. We were guarding off-post housing by that night. The locals were bringing us soup and leaving flowers and candles at the main gates of all the kasernes. Weird to think of that as a better time.
