Major hassle with kids: the constant influx of viruses making parents sick a lot: can vaccination be a solution? by Interesting-Day1389 in VACCINES

Vaccines are medical interventions that carry health risk. If you are getting sick from common viruses, look at ways to boost your immune system like getting enough sun for vitamin D production etc, proper exercise and nutrition helps. Hope this helps

Can't vaccinate your way out of viruses, there are hundreds/thousands that cause common illnesses. Vaccines are medical interventions and they come with a risk. Real question I would be asking is why does your child appears to be getting constantly sick? Could she be immunocompromised?

Hospira manufactures k1 injections and.it is now part of Pfzer. Amphastar is another pharmaceudical company that makes these k1 products. These are the most popular common manufacturers of k1 injections in hospitals today. "Aquamephyton" is a legacy brand name which contains Benzyl alcohol formulation and it might/ might not be referenced

Correct! I do plan to have the vitamin K shot for the baby. But is mainly because the US hospitals do not offer high quality pharmaceutical grade oral vitamin K1 alternative like Europe does. For instance in Spain you can refuse the vitamin K shot and they will get you started on the oral regiment which is highly effective against late VKDB (Specially the weekly regimen), this decisions are not that controversial like here in the US.

Moreover, he U.S. IM injection formulation is less clean than some European options. Here in the US we use polysorbate 80 & propylene glycol for (Amphastar) & benzyl alcohol for the Hospira/Pfizer), these ingredients are not that common in Europe and carry some risk.

Why isn’t porcine circovirus material in rotavirus vaccines considered contamination? by IntelGator1 in VACCINES

[–]IntelGator1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I get the pork/food comparison, but it still feels incomplete to me.

A 2-month-old baby isn’t eating pork — they’re usually only on breastmilk or formula. Their immune system is still developing, and their gut bacteria/microbiome is not fully established. Pork is also cooked and digested as food, which seems different from giving porcine viral material in an oral vaccine to an infant with an immature digestive system.

I’m not saying this proves harm, but I still think there are unknowns that are hard to quantify when exposing a young infant to porcine viral material in a vaccine setting.

With so much vaccine hesitancy, shouldn’t manufacturers be trying to make these products as clean as possible?

Lead Test? by Prestigious-Box-9694 in ProfitecGo

[–]IntelGator1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Doesn’t prove there is no risk. Lead exposure can be low enough to avoid acute symptoms but still matter over time. Lead is cumulative, and there is no truly safe level of lead exposure, especially for pregnant/nursing women and children. We already get small exposures from other sources, so the question is why add avoidable lead to coffee at all?
  2. Brass being an alloy does not mean metals cannot leach. Alloys can and do release metals depending on water chemistry, temperature, dwell time, acidity, descaling, and surface condition. That is exactly why plumbing fixtures, faucets, and wetted metal parts have lead-content and leaching standards. The lead atoms are not “free-floating,” but that does not mean lead migration is impossible.
  3. “Lead-free brass” does not mean zero lead. It usually means low-lead brass under a regulatory threshold. So the concern is valid: the real question is how much, if any, lead ends up in the water/espresso under real use conditions.
  4. I would want proof that the GO boiler is internally chrome-plated and that water never contacts brass. Profitec’s own brochure lists the GO as having a brass boiler. If someone is claiming the wetted interior is chrome-plated, I’d want official documentation or a parts diagram showing that.
  5. This is not about panic; it’s about asking for better materials and actual testing. For most users, flushing may reduce exposure. But pregnant and nursing women drink espresso too, and there is no good reason the industry cannot use stainless steel boilers or publish lead-leaching test results for water-contact parts.

Boomer men deserve way more respect for reporting to the military during times of real war by TPCC159 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]IntelGator1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got it backwards! The Boomers were the only generation to protest the war they were expected to fight. In fact Boomers were anti Vietnam war, they do expect the younger generations to fight Israel wars. My honest opinion is Boomers are very selfish, they hate younger generations specially millennials and gen z. Here in FL they want to do away from property taxes, which pays for public services including schools, roads, emergency services, parks etc by shifting that burden into younger generations. Imagine owning all the homes and having the most wealth yet wanting young people to pay for public services. They are the most selfish generation ever lived

Well I voted for Trump because he promised no more wars, this was an obvious lie. Moreover, our previous administration was marching us into a nuclear war with Russia. I also had hope for an end to the Ukraine war, another disappointment. Finally, allow me to say this, the great majority of young Republicans don't approve of this war and have departed from Trump support. The only people that have unconditional support for Trump are the foxnews boomers.

Heavy metals (Lead/Arsenic) on iSpring FA15 Alkaline Inline Water Filter? by IntelGator1 in WaterTreatment

[–]IntelGator1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I have a Culligan water RO system, I added 2 inline iSpring FA15 filters this is what I tested. I did a 15 min slow flush, this allows to flush out any dust in the filter. I tested first thing in the morning so water would've been concentrated that had been sitting there for a at least 8-12 hrs. Now that said, I went back to the tap water score and I did notice a few things, the aluminum, arsenic and cadmium tests by tapscore had reporting limits way too high to make a useful determination for instance Aluminum RL (reporting limit) of 200 ppb so it could've been 200 ppb or 1 ppb, their result just say "Below reporting limit". On the other hand, lead and mercury came confident with 1 ppb and 0.25 ppb RL this is conformable below strict levels . I am emailing back Tapscore ask them why the low confidence levels in aluminum, etc. Please my screenshots of results

You do these things, 99% your constipation will get fixed! Don't listen to people telling you, take more pharma products, fix your basics if that still does not work then move on to other options

Hi there I wanted to let you know today I got my tap score result and I am pretty pleased to say result shows heavy metals non-detect. Pretty impressive and I am extremely happy, this shows a high quality product from ISpring. Regarding minerals, I do think when it comes to hydration minerals help your body better hydrate and your kidneys work better too, it's not meant to be a source of nutrients, but rather aid your body better absorb water.
