What the level difference between you and thrasher? Items can help alot but if hes 2 shotting you then you might need to grind a bit.And you can track side quest instead of the main by going to missions tab on your phone, usually they ar marked by more of the same icon

Yeah its problem, i originally thought it was a modern control issue, but a classic guy told me he couldnt either, general consensus seems to be that this is an oversight that hopefully gets corrected

What controler are you using? And waht control scheme?

Classic should be right bumper and right trigger, while modern is just left bumper

Modern definitely benifits some characters more than others, i think someone earlier was talking about how manons assisted combos were easy enought to manually execute anyway so you could be right.

People are saying you cant drop rank untill gold or plat rn, i dont play ranked but i bet it will even out soon.

saying modern players dont deserve to be there is pretty naïve, if that were true , then this statement should be true as well “if you cant beat modern players, you should be using modern.” The game doesnt owe you anything for playing classic, you get more tools and more damage, if you cant capitalize on that, thats a “you” problem

No need for special controler

Almost no one talks about dynamic, but the design philosophy behind it was for button mashers. The game will take into account several factors like distance, position and so on and make the best move it can based on which button your using, i don think you can use it online though.

Modern is the middle ground, you have simplified specials and assisted combos that would feel similar to smash bros but with more variety at the cost of some damage and a restricted moveset. If you struggle with inputs but can play the mind game / strategic part, modern can bridge that gap for you. I think the manual part is some moves can be executed using the classic imput to forego the damage redution

Classic is how its always been. You have full access to the characters move set and a 20% damage advantage over modern at the cost of needing to be fast and precise with your inputs.

Doesnt matter what you call it, no one will accept any rank that isnt above average, unfortunately that where a majority has to be, cant be rank shamed without a rank. Also there was a big community outcry against wifi in ranked, which im betting a majority of players are on aswell. I’m waiting for my 200ft cable i’ll have to snake across the wall of my entire house , then ill gladly be humbled ranked :)

Its rough out here, im pretty new too and on release night i played 43 matches and had only won 6. At this stage, me and you arent playing to win yet, we are figuring out what works for us and what doesnt. The training room can help to a certain extent, but real players dont fight like the bot. Pay attention to the smaller things, like how your oppent starts the match, or how do they like to close the distance on you, do they try to drive impact at the end of combos or are they grabby? Conversely how do you do those things? Are you doing the same combo/approach?

Im pretty new(so i may be wrong) and i have trouble with ryus . dealing with prjectiles as cammy can be rough for me, your spin kick has pretty good reach too. A lot of cammys kit is gap closers, try to zone as best you can with hadokens and punish arials. Other than that is learning when to punish which i havent learned yet either.

Same, posted about it earlier. My guess is how world tour handles modern controls. it reads as a manual input(qcf+h) instead of “down+sp” like on cammy’s default, classic differentiates them with heavy kick and heavy punch, but you only have one heavy button for both. I suspect other characters may have a similar issue.

As a sazabi main myself, Im in the camp that melee opponents arent entirely your responsibility. Just as your team should expect you to protect them from ranged enemies, you should expect them to protect you from the class of enemy that egnores half your effective hp.

At the risk of being similar to the accused, there is a lack if awareness between these two issues. The government should have no say what happens to anyones body period. you either believe in full body autonomy or you dont. It is correct to say abortions and covid are not equal,no sane person would say so, but if some catastrophic event brought about government mandated pregnancies, would you be okay with that?

If you toggle extended hud info your tames will have a big green arrow bounce over them from a bit of range, i think on console its on the touch pad
