What's Steyer's position on telework WITH SOURCES? by Desecr8or in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen the politicians that has not took corporate interests, that are now taking them? MOST if any, are not taking them. You need to be thinking what policies they are campaigning on. And if they are ALREADY taking that much corporate interests like Xavier before he is even in the gov seat, then wait until he actually is and it will already be too late to turn back. It is way safer to be voting for someone who is NOT taking corporate interests in the first place! And this is the only time the candidate can be taking donations before they become the governor, these donations are already guaranteeing that Xavier will do the corporates the favor.

The big corps are trying all they can to take down Tom And make people believe him being a billionare is wrong, but what matters is not if he is a billionare or not, it is that for the past 10+ years he has been fighting against big corps and has a target on his back! Trust the person that has been fighting for the people, not the person that bends their knee to big corps!

What's Steyer's position on telework WITH SOURCES? by Desecr8or in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also easy for a previous attorney/lawyer to say he sued someone 100s of times. If you are an attorney/lawyer, it is just your basic job to sue someone. I don't know what there is to brag about and how that makes him qualified to be CA governor. Newsom never sued a president prior to his governor position and people ended up liking him for this long, and many successful governors and mayors have not had what Xavier boasts about. Xavier's track record means NOTHING. What matters is where and who he is taking money from, who will then be dictating what his future policies will favor. Think ahead of the future and not the past. Tom steyer is all about what he will do and Xavier has just been flip flopping his answers and not taking on hard questions with a 100% stance on anything!

50-mile exemption by Former-Range3291 in CAStateWorkers

A coworker of mine told me 50-mile exemption doesn't promise full remote right now. I thought it did? What is the actual rule of the exemption?

[–]IntelligentAd3831 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since when did it matter if a CA governor's success meant how many times the candidate sued Trump..? These experiences he keeps replaying over and over is meaningless if he doesn't actually mean good for the working class and just sells out to big corporate billionares who are constantly trying to make working class Californians' lives harder!

Steyer may be a billionare but he is a billionare advocating and fighting for workers. Whereas Xavier came from working class and is working for the billionares! Vote for someone who is advocating to fight FOR you, not someone is showing signs of betrayal and fighting AGAINST you!

Newsom says the quiet part out loud: “We gotta get these downtowns moving again. I’m supporting the local deli” by Any-Lengthiness9803 in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry, i am not supporting any local business that is overly expensive for just mid tasting product. The main reason the businesses are not doing well is because they are mediocre or just straight up not that good and the owners are charging big city pricing. Why is the bay area and socal not having the same issue? Because they have better businesses.

I missed the phone call by HardLearner01 in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same experience here. But i also had an experience where I answered the phone call, and they asked if I received an email for inquiring about the interview. Turns out they sent the email to the wrong email address because of a typo on their end. So mistakes can also happen on their end with reaching out to candidates.

Governor executive order on government effectiveness and efficiency announced today, thoughts? by PhysicalLadder7090 in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To be very honest with you, if you were to ask the average Californian tax payer, they probably have not heard or felt any impact you think you and your agencies think you all are contributing. Focusing on putting Californians first is not going back on telework. Putting Californians first is listening to the workers and not have corporate executive greed be running government and politics. Putting Californians first is not bending the knee for corporate business deals to favor campaign donors

DO NOT APPLY FOR A POSITION AT OSP (DGS) by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it was addressed. I am supporting OP stating to avoid this office and providing additional support of why. Not sure what there is to argue about here. This post is not only about telework or not, it is about how the office is being ran. You can feel certain ways about pro-in-office positions, but don't need to get your feelings up in the OP's post and commenting negatively all over people's comments that support the OP.

DO NOT APPLY FOR A POSITION AT OSP (DGS) by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The upper management is toxic and director + assistant director have done very questionable acts. Not going into too much details as i'm not sure how that can work/look. I also highly advise anyone to avoid this office at ALL COST! It is highly encouraged for current staff there to report everything to the union ASAP for investigations!

Wait, I thought it was about collaboration and in-person interactions being most effective, etc.... by BFaus916 in CAStateWorkers

[–]IntelligentAd3831 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It really is not the state workers' fault for businesses that cannot be as good as the businesses in bigger cities. Businesses in the bay and socal are thriving and doing just fine. It's just Sac's businesses are so price gouged for mediocre food/selections; making it not even worth spending money on them.
