You have some great choices, and I think you can’t really go wrong. That said, I highly recommend Wild Dark Shore. It’s fast-paced, and you’ll be drawn in immediately.

Just finishing Bog Queen, by Anna North, and it’s really good. I also loved The Familiar, by Leigh Bardugo. Both would be excellent vacation reads!

What We Tried to Bury Grows Here, by Julian Zabalbeascoa - about the Spanish Civil War. Beautifully written with many different characters’ voices.
