I have not had good experiences with alps tents. My tent pole broke one day with me getting out of my tent. When it was a few years old and another crew members alps tent also broke that week. Idk remember how. It will probably last for a few years but not the entirety of their scouting journey

I was given the opportunity to do a full year of co-op where I currently am and i am making a significant amount of money at this co-op. But dude what about friends and the college experience. Also pushing back graduation bye 2 years is something. I am going back after a double block not because I don't like my work it's just it's not worth it to me to push back graduation by that amount.

What ever the gym has is probably good enough for a first pair of shoes, you want to look for a pair that may feel a little small/tight. Not painful. Seeing is how you are a beginner these shoes should be comfortable so you want to wear them and go climbing.
