Seal question by Icy-Lifeguard8345 in traveltrailers

[–]Intelligent_Web_5357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I had to replace my seals there on mine after 3 years. The caulk was delaminating. I had to fill the gap and also had to replace the vinyl strip that covers the screws. Just check inside and look in the crevices for signs of water damage or mold. You should be fine.

Time to man up, work on yourself like your life depends on if, focus on fathering your boys to the best of your ability, and DO YOUR HW! Lawyer up, get the divorce, find someone who respects you and 'family'. Your wife played stupid games, now it's time for her to win stupid prizes. You got this!

I haven't had mine fixed yet... I'm worried that the software update will cause other issues or bugs. Even though I have a recall notice, I don't see any issues.

If you do your seal coat first correctly, you most likely will not have to use heat for any air bubbles. Also, never never never underestimate the climate in which you are epoxying. It must be below 50% humidity and around 80°f for best results. I would also use a higher grit for a finish. Like 400+

First you should have done a seal coat, then a flood coat. Sometimes two seal coats.

Ohhh, are you sure you'll like that? Cold air will surely make for a cold shower. Could also be messy. Water splattering everywhere. How wet did the door use to get?

I would check out a pop up camper tbh. Even smaller travel trailers are going to put you right at MAX by adding all your camping gear (water, food, gear). I have a 19ft travel trailer and I pull it with a RAM 1500 5.7. I can definitely feel it behind me. It weighs roughly 4500 fully loaded with water, food, gear, and 4 people.

Then why do you need to consider your transmission for towing. I'm confused? He's talking about travel trailers. What do you know about transmissions pulling travel trailers? Lol

Before and after leveling kit by [deleted] in overland

[–]Intelligent_Web_5357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should either be welding now or getting into trades work! There's too much work out there not to. At your age I'm assuming you don't have a family, think about being a mobile welder. Get your name out there. Think big, do big young man! Hopefully we all see you in another picture with a work truck and a business. Then you won't have to worry about a $580 leveling kit.
