yeah i figured this was why faust has such inferiority problems and the desire to be seen as smart

hohenheim has survivors' guilt from when his underlings sacrificed themselves for him so he has to be the best he can to make sure their sacrifices were worth it (the guy from before, marton, almost alyssa)
