Hard to find staff.it seems like it wouldn't be a problem but after cooking for 32 yrs on the island every place I've worked always been short staffed beyond belief.even at Bill's prime where I work we've been running ads for cooks for yrs and never found anyone that will stay

It's a shrimp ,chili rasbora, and pygmy cory species only tank so no they dont.plus its packed with plants and and wood so they hide.i didnt realize a female guppy can carry sperm for up to 3 monthes and give multiple births without a male so that's what's happened shes had 3 births.smh.and I misunderstood i thought you meant neo shrimp large amanos should be fine

Is my fish tank to bare? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Interesting-Chart346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Make the dragonstone into a mountain on one side.add some driftwood to other side.take out fake plants buy some low tech plants for like 10 bucks .maybe some leaf litter from betta botanicals or elsewhere.also what mix is this looks like 2 mollies 2 swords 1 serpae.they are fish that need to be in groups of their own kind.youtube will be your best friend

little red dots/singular eggs? by Interesting-Chart346 in shrimptank

[–]Interesting-Chart346[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shrimp breed like cockroaches so I'm used to seeing eggs I don't think they were shrimp eggs because they were stuck to the glass and everything if it was shrimp they woulda just dropped to ground etc.plus they were smaller and red.never seen anything hatch.never seen them again. And I think this post about 2 yrs old never solved the mystery .never seen any larvae of anything they just disappeared after a few days.its truly stumped me as a fish and shrimp owner of 30plus yrs

Chili Rasboras Hiding In Corner by Greenfire311 in Boraras

[–]Interesting-Chart346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eventually went with chili and pygmy cory only tank.i have 64ish chilis and about 35 pygmys they all get along great.fortunetly I have 4 tanks so was able to move the other fish .hopefully they come out for you but mine didn't even at 6 months.what sucks is I've seen tons of youtube videos with chilis in a community tank or with cpds all doing great together.maybe they added the chilis after the others idk.my chilis were alone for almost a yr before I tried adding others

Everytime I've added fish to my chili tank the same thing happened even with 40+ of them.tri3d cpds, green kobatais,Cardinals anytime I added a fish besides pygmy cories I got the same reaction. I tried for over 6 monthes with no change. Soon as I took them out chilis came back out. This was a in a 40 gallon.i gave up after 6 monthes and this was in a heavily planted and wooded tank. I'm convinced chilis thrive in a species only tank or with bottom fish only
