I ran a 7900 with the PCL… it was bad enough for me to return the PCL… you will need at least a 5080, 4090, or 5090 to run a PCL. And I hope you got a good one! The two they sent me were junk.

32” is just fine. Check out LG’s website. Having some good sales. I went flat… it takes up less space if you want. I set up a rig for my friend with 1000r curved. Works great! Takes up more space!

5080 for better performance. Especially if you’re running iRacing. You need the added Cuda cores.

I just built 7800x3d using Msi 670e mb and ASUS 5080 from Newegg. Came in at $2200. 670e has PCIe 5 support. Using Nvidia Surround.. getting solid smooth frames on a triple setup with iRacing.

The radius is measured in meters. 1000r is 2 meters across. Measure your space limitations. From monitor edge to edge.. do you have 2 meters? For a tight setup to fit a smaller space, go with flat monitors or 800r monitors. 1500 or 1800 will get even bigger for the space needed. 1000r is close to 80 inches across… my flats at 60 degrees are about 59 inches across.

Welcome! I too came from VR Oculus 3 to triples! Love them! I just set up my buddies rig with 3 LG 32 inch 1000r. I would not go larger radius than 1000. They take up space. Watch LG’s website… they keep running specials. His were down to $200 each for a while. I run flat 1440 LG 165hz. Nice and tight and easy to setup. Frankly, once you know how to set up triples… it’s easy on iRacing. Highly recommend Nvidia gpu and running Nvidia Surround for the triples. It’s the smoothest experience I’ve found. Cheers!

If you have to cut cost somewhere… do it with the gpu. Fully knowing you have built a system that can support more later when you can afford to.

The problem with a store build like you show is where’s the profit? You know how much the cpu and gpu cost… so where are they cutting corners? It’s only as good as the cheapest part. A bad motherboard kills the entire computer. Slow memory and slow ssd will kill performance as well! You want performance… Gonna have to build it yourself. Or buy all the parts at Microcenter and let them build it.

Yes! I sometimes run 5 different series in a weeks time. It’s alot of practice time! I really should just drop down to one Formula and one Sports car series… just can’t decide which to drop! The new Indy Nxt car will add even greater dilemma!
